    NRL YTD 88-82 -28.87 units

Well we are already at week 20. Where has it all gone has moved so fast dont ya think. Well tonight we have a great game between to of the games best teams.

    FNF Stats:

    Favs Su: 18-14-1

    Dogs ATS: 17-16-0

    Totals: 13-20

    Pick:

    Broncos +4.5 5 units @ $1.80

Well last time these 2 teams met the Broncos choose to rest their stars and as such did well to compete in the game. This its different and i expect them to compete well and be in the game the whole way if not get the win. The Broncos are 12-5 Su and 10-7-0 ATS for the year and have been 1 of the form teams for the comp. The Storm also have been a form team going 13-4 Su and 12-5-0 ATS for the season. On FNF dogs in this point range are 11-9-0 ATS and feel this should stand up.

    Eels -1.5 5 units @ $1.90

Well really like the eels to get it done tonight with Hayne in at 5/8 feel that could be massive and well the Doggies have been very poor really and dont see it changing this week. The eels where good on their last hit out on FNF and feel they get it done tonight. The Eels are 5-11-1 Su and 9-8-0 ATS for the season so have been very good at covering the points. The Doggies are 7-9-0 Su and ATS for year but have been far worse than their record would suggest. They have been weak and with out micky ennis dont think they have a chance tonight.

Dont have any totals up yet but will wait for them to be posted ans see if there is something that sticks out.

    BOL all.

I am worried how last week is gonna affect that team. It is gonna take alot to mentally back up from that. They had that game won. It was int he back, to then have it taken away ??? All the build up for Hindmarsh' 300th game etc. The Eels have had a very very hard month and a bit, they have played the Drags in extra point, Manly right to the death, got showed up at Canberra and went to extras against in Penrith.

I can see a flat spot for them.

For the Dogs, well, they have been disgusting to say the least. 1st test for Dymock, he has already dumped Morris and all the players are on notice. If the team doesnt turn up tonight, there is no one to blame but the players. I have a feeling they turn up tonight.

Oh, and before i forget, the bulldogs opposition best player every game this year is OUT, Kris Keating. My goodness, he is horrendous.

As for the Broncs, i dont mind them here.

yea i agree with what u say but just cant back the Doggies the way they are playn. And there best player is not even playing and the halves have no form.

Just have to stick with the eels as they are the team playing better atm. They should win and will take a massive game from the Doggies to get the upset win.

Like both plays, although i'm going to Multi them together and box out on the Broncos option with the +12.5 on them @ 1.42 with sportstab.com.au

Well last night was very poor but looking to turn that around tonight with three big games.

    Picks:

    Titans +1.5 5 units @ $1.80

Well this play is based on cowgurls away from home without JT. They surely cant win without him away from home and if there was any game the titans where going to win it would be this one. Surely birdy and scotty fire up and get the win. The Titans are 4-13 SU and ATS for the year and the cowgurls are 11-6 Su and 12-5-0 ATS for the year but it is a well known fact they are very weak without JT and dont see that changing tonight.

    Knights +1.5 5 units @ $1.80

Yes i know another dog tonight but just think they are the better team and have Gidds back tonight at the back and the halves will be better for the run together last week. For me the Knights are the better team in this match up and the Sharkies will find it ahrd to get up after that trashing at the hands of Saints on MNF. MNF dos who lose are 4-9-0 ATS the next week. I known the Knights have no form but the sharkies have not really beatn any team of note in last 5 weeks. The Knights are 8-9 SU and 7-10-0 ATS. The Sharkies are 7-10 Su and 9-8-0 ATS so have been good at keeping games close just like the knights to get up in this one.

    Chooks +6.5 5 units @ $1.80

Another dog and betting for my chooks again. Not sure y i am but have to go with the Chookies tonight. They have there best line up out there again with minny at the back and should compete in this game. They have been better in the last few weeks and will have another go with them tonight. The Chooks are 5-12 Su and 6-11-0 ATS. The Tigers are 8-9 Su and 7-10-0 ATS for the season but expect this game to be close contest, think the Chooks have a good chance to get the win Su.

Thats all for now may have a play on totals later but this is it for now.

BOL all. Hope we are all on the same side.

    Um Snake interesting.....

I agree with the knights but i think im leaning towards a cowboys and tigers victory here... both have the top 8 to play for and feel that they need this win to contest for the congested top 8 spots.

    GL with it anyway snake!

    NRL YTD 88-85 -43.87 units

    Titans

Well the Titans are the most unlucky team in the NRL. They have either all walked under a ladder together or mashed mirrors because they cant get anythink to go there way.

Yea just think the Chooks are going to be in the game the whole way.

They have found a little form recently and well the Tigers have only beat the cowgurls of late and thats without JT.

well another poor night last night and hoping to finish with three good picks to end the round and get back towards some + units.

    Picks:

    Bunnies +1.5 5 units @ $1.80

Well the Bunnies need the win this arvo and should be very hungry for the win at home. The warriors do struggle in ozi and feel this will help the bunnies to get over the line. For the year the Bunnies are 7-10-0 Su and ATS and had a very good golden point win last week and expect them to come out very confident after the win. The Warriors have a good win over the Doggies but really the doggies wernt there for the 2nd 40 mins. The Warriors are 9-8 Su and 8-9-0 ATS for the year. Bunnies get up and win in a close hard fought game.

    Sea Eagles -5.5 5 units @ $1.90

No Luke Lewis is massive in this game. The Eagles are to good and will win the game by DD at centrebet staduim for me. They where very impressive last week and expect them to continue on this week with another win. For the year they are 13-4 Su and 11-6-0 ATS and have been a form team of the comp. The Penny Panthers are 8-9 Su and 11-6-0 ATS. They have been 1 team that has been able to keep games clsoe the whole way and probly should have won a few more games. For me the big thing in this game is no lewis he is a massive part of their attack and think this should be the big reason why the Eagles get up.

    Adding:

    Warriors/Bunnies under 42.5 5 units @ $1.80

Think this game goes well below both teams have not had many high scoring games of late grinding the games away.

    Bad luck mate

I stayed pretty much out this weekend.

I have learnt that this is all nothing but luck.

When you win you have to be humble and admit that it had NOTHING to do with your reasoning and logic as to why you bet it in the fiirst place. It was merely a co-incidence.

When you go on a losing streak, it has also nothing to do with your logic and reasoning of taking the side in the first place, but merely a co-incidence.

At the end of the day, it really isnt any different to blackjack, playing red and black etc.

As i said, the game of NRL today (betting on it) is a complete lottery, esecially with the number of tries coming from lucky kicks, loose balls etc.

The game had been ruled and refereed like this at the advice of bookmakers, to make it a complete lottery every game, especially on overs unders and margins.

As i said before, making money on the NRL back in the early part of the 2000's was like printing money, bookmakers woke up and i have no doubt they have played a big part in changing the rules and interpretations of the game.

It is almost becoming like soccer now regarding scoring ability of teams.

Once in awhile you will get break out scores, but for the whole most part, it is just a game of luck.

Chip kick..... players running onto the ball, it hits the deck, all the players look at the ref to see which way he is looking, they score!

    You're a moron Rostos.

So kicking isn't a factor in anyone's handicapping?

Perhaps it should be, and you might win more often, rather than being a pathetic loser.

I hope you don't play golf.

'Oh, I made a great start, birdied the first.... double bogeyed 2-18 though, due to some unlucky bounces that I had no control over. I didnt realise hitting it 50m right was an intrical aspect to the game...'

U are both right in what u say. Yes luck is part of the game but really at some points in the games over just the last few weeks there has been some crazy calls and there has to be something done about interpretation of the game and how refs are meant to deal with "iffy" calls because atm there  is nothing solid week to week and makes it hard for players and cappers.
