Agree with Brisbane to bounce back from getting sheep shagged.
Think the Warriors will handle the chooks though, beating Brisbane I think it's safe to say Warriors finally got things in order. Maybe buy a point for 5.5 to be on the safe side.

Gallen will probably be out, either recovering from soreness or resting for SOO. Sharks off a tough monday night game, Sharks a bit beat up, think they'll have a downturn till after SOO. Storm have been too potent to bet against a line less than 12.5 imo and they had a practice session against Panfers. I'm a Victard Storm grub fan though.

Like Raiders at less than a converted try over Eels at home. Dragons over Panfers, points or 13+

Cowboys -1.5 would normally seem like a gift against the Knights but they been pretty unimpressive away from home.

Find out what bets the refs have on this weekend, then take it from there....

I urge ANYONE to watch that Manly Canberra game last week closely....If you dont think refs cheat in this competition, then,, i dont know what to say.....

As Furner said, the refs were not going to let Canberra win on Sunday...

I wonder who else the refs have pre determined results for this weekend.

Well, you know for a fact Melbourne will get every favourable call this weekend....Just take the storm -10.5 and buy a house with the proceeds.

I wouldnbt be surprised if the NRL are deliberately letting Melbourne do what they want to make them succesful as a big fuck you to the AFL for setting up a team in Western Sydney

Django agree about the cowboy but the Knights have been god awful and the cowboys loss to Souths 2 weeks ago looks even better with the way the bunnies played last night

GWS were already approved and formed as a team long before Melbourne were stripped of the premierships. If the NRL wanted to get at the AFL for going into western Sydney they wouldn't have exposed Melbourne as cheats, which did worse for NRL in Melbourne for casual viewers than anything the AFL can do.

Besides, GWS isn't causing much trouble for the NRL at all, they have to give away seats to get 8k people to the game. GWS will probably fail financially even with them being relatively competitive in the first year, one team was enough for NSW and QLD. AFL is hurting itself more by fast tracking these expansions into non tradition AFL territories and thinning out the competition than it is to the NRL. Both sports will always co-exist. AFL will get the larger crowds due to Melbourne's density and NRL will always draw larger tv numbers due to the population in NSW/QLD in rural areas.

I don't know why I'm responding to rostos with common sense. I'm probably being trolled. Nobody could be that cray cray to think the NRL would fix games for the Storm thinking it's going to somehow impact the AFL.

West Coast Eagles in AFL get a lot of gifted frees from the vocal crowd, nobody calls fix or thinks the AFL is favouring them. Buddy Franklin is around to kick from out of bounds due to his "natural arc".

Shit happens there's bad calls in just about every game, some star players may influence the refs to favour them, if you look at it in the grander scale instead of just focusing on individual instances that give you bad beats you'd see they go each way in the long run, referees are human and are acting under pressure, like the athletes and the benefit of the doubt ruling is kind of vague.

The better teams make less errors so there's occasionally a discrepancy in penalty counts, where the stats would indicate the refs favoured one side but in reality it wasn't the case. Although I haven't seen every Storm game it looks like Bellamy has made a point of cutting back on giving away cheap penalties.

I meant Buddy's allowed to run off the mark, not kick from out of bounds.

God awful is a bit harsh, they had the third best defence in the comp leading into last week and take out the starting halfback and hooker out of any side and see how they travel.

    They'll struggle this week though

Yea perhaps a bit harsh but just think they play a bad style of footy, In saying that i don't have them in the same league as Panthers or eels but no one since wests 1999 deserves to be

Rostos as usual love your work son and could not agree with you more. NRL knows for the storm to come back from having titles stripped they have to win and win good to get the support back.

Django the reason the NRL had to strip them points because so many people new about it.

Not sure how many of you will remember this but remember when the warriors got dockde points at the start of a season and had to start in the negatives well i know the accountant behind that, he said it was going to happen eventually as so many people new and the players knew for sure.

    just my 2 cents

The only blatant matchfixing I can recall in rugby was New Zealand to win the RWC last year.
