    Revenge
game for the storm tomorrow night but the punters are happy to take the 5.5 start with the titans without Scotty Prince. Storm haven't been winning by much on the road and that could be the factor why this line isn't further out than it should be. They have a nice winning streak going and I couldn't see them losing to the home side without their general. Taking Melbourne to cover seems like the right play, I can't decide right now. Even without the captain the titans are a dangerous team at home and also this will be 200th game for Ashley Harrison so the boys could have something extra in the tank. The big question for me is 'are the storm tired yet?' they've had a tough schedule.

Don't care for the other game, the way the broncs are going you'd have to think the dragons will cover. Also with the revenge factor for the dragons this could get ugly for the young broncs. I'm gonna give this a pass because l wanna see how they recover from getting bitch slapped last week....mentally. It is the NRL and 18 points could be tough but if the dragons can forget about last week and get on with the job, I'm sure they can cover this by halftime.

Back tomorrow with the final play.

wasn't a fluke, but anyone looking to draw a line from that game a year ago to tonight's game is kidding themselves.

This time last year the Titans were playing a lot better than they are at present and the Storm were but a shadow of their usual selves through the early rounds of last season.

If you think the Storm were playing anywhere near the level they are right now at this point of last season, you really need to go and watch some game tape from back then.

If you think the Storm were playing anywhere near the level they are right now at this point of last season, you really need to go and watch some game tape from back then.

They are playing exactly the same level, they have just been lucky that shit teams like Sharks,Knights and Panthers couldn't capitalise on the Storms average play like a few teams did last season

Storm haven't been great this season

Storm are playing better now at this stage in the season then last season?

Is that why they scraped past the 12 losses in a row hapless Sharks in round 1? and scraped past the Kurt Gidlyless Knights?

    Ok..

A 14-10 road win over the hapless 12 losses in a row Sharks is a better win then the Storm's 17-16 win over the Dragons in round 1 last season?

A 20-14 win over the Kurt Gidleyless Knights is a better win then the 26-12 away win against the Cowboys in round 3 last season?

Storm are playing at the same level,,,,

Missiong your half back - the guy who touches the ball the most for your team and still winning says something.

He is back and playing well.

    Storm will win this......

    Either storm or under here....

Can u see a Princeless Titans scoring more than 12 on the Storm Defence?

They will do the same as last year, kick the ball dead so Billy doesnt get momentum

Storm haven't been great this season

    if you say so

I went to the Broncos v Storm game in round 2 or 3 last season and was pretty shocked at how disjointed and stale the Storm looked. They had a few new young forwards who were fresh on the scene, they were yet to acquire Brett Finch and they look devoid of ideas in attack.

But don't take my word for it, ask Craig Bellamy. I would bet you london to a brick that he would say his team has started this season in much better form than last year.

They have scraped through in the early rounds but what they produced against the Dragons last friday was top shelf.

at the end of the day, melbourne is 4-0 and sitting on top. they r more defensive orientated this year, if they can get there attacking game happening, watch out other teams. in saying that i give gold coast a big chance as this is storms 3rd away trip in 4 weeks. im more inclined to go with under tonite or GC team points over.

I would take Melbourne against a road Titans every single time

How many games have Melbourne lost at home?

Storm haven't been great this season

GC got out of gaol against the Warriors at home with Prince.

Then got out of gaol away (thanks, refs) against Souths with Prince.

Then beat up on a disjointed spastic road tem with Prince.

Then got flogged away without Prince.

Titans are just lucky that shit teams like Souths and the Warriors couldn't put them to bed when they had the chance.

I hate the word "fluke". I don't think there's anything "flukey" about winning an NRL game by 12 points. If drop goal ricochets off a dog then off either goal post, then off the cross bar and goes through, THAT'S a fluke.

Where you could say the Titans were a little lucky in winning that game last year was catching Melbourne at a time when they weren't playing well, they were flat and were having trouble scoring points.

The Titans were playing well at that stage and went down there with a point to prove given they were without Scott Prince and once a team, any team gets into a game and gets a sense that their opposition is a little vulnerable or a little off, it makes that team lift enormously.

An 18-6 Titans win in Melbourne NOW, against THIS Melbourne Storm team is almost inconcievable. At that particular point of last season however, the stars were aligning differently for both teams.

Titans don't have to be great as judged by the Knights,Panthers and Sharks performances against the Storm,,,,

No they weren't,i already told you that, both teams were playing at a similar level with a  2-1 start to the season

Storm get upset at home so that means something had to be wrong with the Storm instead of the opposition just being the better team on the day?

If Melbourne defend 75% as well as they did last week, Titans will have to be fucking brilliant, not great, to win

with all due respect, I don't really care "what you told me" because I don't agree with it. Just because two teams have 2-1 records doesn't mean shit in terms of whether theyre playing at the same level.

And yes, something WAS wrong with the Storm when the Titans beat them down there last year. It's pretty damn obvious when you consider that the Titans two previous visits to Olympic Park with Scott Prince in tow, had ended 50-4 and 46-6 in favour of Melbourne.

Are you telling me the Titans became a 50+ point better team in 2009 WITHOUT Scott Prince there to help, through their own sheer brilliance ?

A flat and out of sorts Melbourne had plenty to do with that 18-6 result

So you forget to mention the Titans also smashed the Storm 18-0 in 2008 at Skilled Park also
