The Dragons didn't look good down 14-0 but showed true determination and that try just before half-time switched the momentum. Good signs coming out of Mary McGregor's men so far.
Yep, Brisbane luck-boxed that win. Was a funny game.
A forward pass try by about 6 feet,
A lucky bounce from the in-goal (Fk Ben Hampton),
A blatant takedown of Thurston when he chipped the ball through the line but no penalty.
And in the end the Doncos were saved by the goalpost.
They lucked the win? Did you see how many try reviews the Broncos had all night long? They should have been up by at least 14-16 at the half and that final 2 mins of the game, the refs gave the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt by handing them penalties to get them home. It's only fitting the goal post prevented them from winning as they were not the better team at all during the entirety of the match and they should never have been in the position of losing in the first place.
