This is the 1st time the storm are playing without there stars this season.

Do the Storm really deserve to be $1.70 favs?

Are the books simply banking on the Storm to out-motivate the Roosters?

The Roosters have been mighty awful thus far, they grinded a win against the Warriors in awful conditions last week.

Is tonight the night Carney turns it around?

THoughts? I have a very very strong lean to the Rooters

Lets look at there last 4 weeks

They caught the Broncs without there stars and just won.

They JUST beat a depleted sharks team

They JUST beat a depleted Rabbits team.

They lost to the woeful Raiders team.

All this while having smith, Cronk , Slater (who has pretty much been in career form) and Neilse.

The Rosters havent done much this year but for some reason it tells me they are due.

No Pearce, but they have Carney and Anasta so no big deal, no SKD but Perret is back.

No Myles but there forward stocks are good anyway.

Gees, the only thing i can think of is that the books think the Storm are gonna out-motivate the Roosters

Roosters missing a lot of their first choice backs but for me the key is that they have direction in the halves. Storm don't have their 3 main playmakers so not sure where the points are going to come from tonight

Perhaps the under coz from what i can tell neither these teams wil be gellng in attack.

That`s when he gets paid for picking up all the dirty socks....

The more i think about it, i dont know how the Storm are gonna score....They arent a convincing offensive team even with there 3 stars.....

The Roosters have shown to have very good defense.

There attack might suffer tonight as Carney and anasta wont have enough time to form combos with the new outside backs.

Furthermore, Melbourne's D is pretty good..

Both attacks are as bad as each other

Just have this funny feeling this game will cover the 40 point mark tonight, eventhough this makes no sense at all..

Key/strike players are out, Roosters have done nothing in attack for a fair while, Melbourne D still has solid structure, Roostes D have been good lately also, coaches are talking about keeping things simple, and everyone expecting a close game with minimal points.

All points to a solid under. 

Not a fan when 'logic' points to one outcome this much
