If you were following last year, I started with about 6 rounds to go and ended the year up 35 units up in both NRL and AFL combined. Here to deliver winners again starting with tonight.
Manly +5.5
These first round games are a toss up but after dissecting all the games on the board this is one game I like the most. Brisbane aren't all that different from last year and yeah they added Scotty Prince but let's be honest, he and Wallace don't stack up to Manly's impressive halves combination.
Corey Norman was mistake prone last year and he is at fullback tonight, lined up with one of the best in the game in Brett Stewart. In my opinion as well, Manly wins the battle at hooker as well.
Look at the Melbourne Storm for example... if you're number 1, 7 and 9 are above average players you're always going to be in the game. And with the 5.5 on offer I'll take that everyday. The only thing against us here is the Broncos crowd and they traditionally start out the season well. But Manly have played in big games and I think they should overcome this.
