Rare heavy favorite ML play for me, not gonna piss around with the spread given the state of the refereeing. 8 penalties one way then 8 the other way, agendas and the like. Bit of a nut-check putting it on a stuttering Bunnies squad, who also hasn't won a finals game in forever though. Actually prefer that the Rabbits are coming off a bad loss where they barely bothered the scoreboard, should rattle them into bringing their A-game and they match up well with the Raiders, with the weapons to exploit the Canberra strengths unlike the Sharkies. Croker loss is big for Canberra, playmaking centre with a good boot. Loss of King for the Bunnies, not so much. Homebush will be full of Bunnies fans baying for penalties, Archer and Cecchin in. Think the NRL gets what it wants in the end - a Rabbitohs v Bulldogs semi-final, setting up a somewhat bumper series next week which will be thoroughly over-promoted...

I agree emkee although I don't like the fact Rabbitohs will be a heavy public favorite.

I watched a few Raiders games this year and they are a streaky bunch...don't know much about NRL but from what I seen, Rabbitohs lack composure in pressure games but you'd reckon home crowd will have the guys pumped up to start relatively sound.

Bunnies 

Yeah. Always concerned about the heavy favorite but the action the books will generate next week with a Bunnies/Dogs and Seagles/Storm footy weekend will be phenomenal. A comprehensive Souths win tonight would be great for the line vs the Dogs. Too bad last night's game was so controversial as the spotlight will be on the refs to a certain degree but Archer is the consummate professional and knows how to be subtle...

Dugs got Chook (Darryl Halligan) in to help him with his goal kicking this week. Whether it worked remains to be seen...
