I started to gravitate towards the Sharks about 9 years ago, after my 1st full year of league, but their organization didn't strike me as being run all that well.

So, I don't count. I'm a classless bandwagon fan for who ever I have the jack - $ $ $ - on for that week.

Although the wife is a Manly lifer, so you can can bag on me for that

What took you up there ?

I was stationed in Cairns for six years for my first job out of uni, love the place and still go back a few times a year to visit mates.

Hey Jive, its paradise, well coming from cold Port Melbourne it was like paradise. Got an amazing apartment overlooking the coral sea and so much cheaper than melbourne. I could never afford this place in Melbourne.
We were going to go overseas to visit my wife's family in Scotland and got side tracked, still here a year later.
Where are you now?

haha, you're not the first to stay a little longer than planned in Cairns. I saw so many people from all types of professions leave for opportunities down south, only to return to Cairns a year or three later. WHen I went up there I only intended to be there a year, but after six it got to the stage where I had to force myself to leave !  Am in Brisbane now.   

It was innocent.
