blame it all on soward, missing 3 conversions in the 1st half made the game a lot closer than it shoudl have been, then they had a good opportunity at the start of the second half and missed it. then after they let raiders back into a 1 try game it was pretty much done for there momentum

SINCE the TAB have introduced "try to be scored in the last 5 minutes of the game", i have never ever seen so many tries scored in the last 5 minutes of games as i have this year.
NEVER.
There is so much gambling going on by players, there friends and there families. No doubt in my mind

Sure he spent time under Bennett but he's a polar opposite in a lot of ways. To think that Bellamy hasn't developed his own direction as far as coaching goes is just ridiculous. Watch a Bennett coached team and watch a Bellamy coached team and the difference is marked.
Origin is not a definitive indication of a coach's ability.
What Bellamy has done with the Storm this year after all the turmoil they've been through over the past year is remarkable. It doesn't seem to matter what players he has in his squad he just plugs them into his systems and methods and away they go.

Bellamy coached a team that was so illegal, if he was trialled in a court of law he would almost be sentenced to life in prison.
Yes, Bennet also had a super star team (early to mid 90's), BUT, he was up against super star teams in the Raiders , Dragons and Bulldogs. It was almost like the MLB or NBA back then with no real salary cap, you had super teams. It was really a comp within a comp back in those days.
He is the only coach to have ever won back to back premierships in the last 25 years.
Look at what Bennet did in the 01 origin series, where his team was very undermanned compared to NSW that year.
Yes, Bellamy is having a very very good year with the squad he has, BUT, BUT, BUT, 2 things,
1. When was the last time EVEN ONE of the big 3 missed a game? Dont include Origin, cause they played a NYC Roosters team that night. BEllamy has been one of the LUCKIEST coaches in the history of the NRL to have his main stars PLAYING EVERY GAME FOR THE PAST 5 years. When was the last time Smith, Cronk or Slater missed a large chunk of a season?
2. His team is playing injury free and playing with a massive bee under there bonnets cause of what happened last year. Even if they win it this year which i dont think they will, watch them struggle to make the 8 next year cause the Bee will fly away.
