Stupid, drunken behaviour is carried out every night of the week but because of who Pearce is, the media are all over this incident. I'm not suggesting it is acceptable but then again the whole thing was no huge deal.
BUT how bloody dumb for someone in his position, knowing that EVERY error of judgement is going to be hammered, to repeatedly stick your head on the chopping block.
Unfortunately, like many others (certainly not just footballers), his social behaviour becomes unacceptable when he's had a skinful. I'm no prude (nor saint) but unless he addresses the issue by amending his drinking habits he'll be doing the same things in 20 years time. Difference will be that only those directly affected by his actions will give a hoot.
Hope he gets his act together but in the mean time deserves to be dropped for his stupidity more so than for his actions.
