In all honesty though, players are paid to play. Shut the fuck up coconut sooks and play for whomever the club employ.

 

If they wanted Iro so much they wouldn't have quit on him in the final two games of the season.

Thats exactly what i was going to say. While 2 games is not really a decent sample size, the manner in which they got flogged in those ast 2 games including conceeding 40 unanswered points to a severley undermanned Raiders team at home farewelling a few of their players forced management.

They simply didnt turn up for him. A gauge of how good a coach is or how much a team wants to play for their coach is the teams attitude to defense. Those last 2 games were diabolical.

Matty Elliot was the Steve Bradbury of choices in this instance

Yep I remember backing them against the Dragons his first game in charge largely based on the players coming out and saying how happy they were to see Iro getting a chance to coach them.

That second half from them was disgraceful. Made the Dragons look like an offensive powerhouse 

I'm a big fan of Matt Elliot, i think he is a great fit

Warriors players would be loving this knowing that they can continue there lazy ways without repercussion because Matt Elliot will get the blame for everything
