Well three big games today and much to look foward to.
Picks:
Southland -9.5 5 units @ $1.90
Well i know that this should be a good close contest but think the Stags get this one in what are going to be very poor conditions. Its going to be bitter cold wind will be strong. Southland are the best imo at playing in those conditions. Habour will struggle and just think they defend the shield tonight with decent margin. Southland are 3-3-0 ATS but are 2-1-0 ATS outside the confrence. Habour are 1-5-0 ATS and 0-2-0 ATS outside the confrence
Southland/North Habour under ? 5 units.
Dont have a total up yet but im guesing its going to be very low imo. Going to wait on a total before i decide if its a play but thought would just get it out there. I think this is going to be one of those games where feild postion is key and very few tries. Southland are 2-4 on totals are habour are 4-2 but waether is going to play massive part in this game
Hawks bay/BOP Steamers over ? 5 units
Well for mind this game will be high scoring affair. The weather looks good with sunshine and both teams are good on attack. BOP may be slightly tired amd may lack on D a bit after a tough game against the naki. The Bay are 4-2 on totals and BOP are 3-3. So good in that respect.
Manawatu +10.5 5 units @ $1.80
Well this seems very fishy for me. The Turbos have been very good this year and Wellington have been up and down all year. Yes they had a good win last game out but they have 3 ABs in the team. They do not have them for the game tonight. Manawatu are 4-2-0 ATS and Wellington are 3-3-0 ATS for the year. Just think this game is going to be a close well fought contest.

Well southland dont deserve to still have the shield and if the habour boys had just kicked for the corner in the last 15 mins they would have now won the shield. And that game winning try is clearly obstruction going through 2 of your own players to score.

Well this game should be a very good game and both teams will look to throw the ball round and score some points with the sun out and good conditions. Both teams are 4-2-0 ATS. BOP have lost their last 2 Su so expect them to get their season back on track at home today where they are yet to lose and are 3-0-0 ATS.
