Shield game is always a very different game. Its a game where u take 3 points a grind out a win. Never a high scoring game where u throw the bal laround heaps. Plays into the southland hands really.

Well 2 more games to end week 3 and have a couple games that are evenly matched and should be a very good games.

For me the Otago team will be tired and will find it hard to get up. hey have done a lot more travelling over the past week than the bay and this should be a massive factor in the game. bay are on their 2nd home game in a row. In their last hit out they where good and for this game they get 4 international players back for the game. They win by 7 or more for me.

Well they should have some real confidence after the win on wednesday night and they have the ability to change players to keep them fresh more so than the tasman squad. Both teams have had to make the flight south for this game so travell will not be an issue and just for me the counties boys get it done by DD.
