absolutely. Coaches are accutely aware of how the dollars are stacking up at their clubs when it comes to players they can / can't target or retain ect. Their jobs hinge on the results and results hinge on players. They play a massive role in the number-crunching process at all clubs.

Players will have to come out as well. Player agents too, they get a cut so they'd know every fucking dollar their clients earn.

Melbourne have been spoon-fed their whole existence, given special dispensation the whole way, and then turn around and get done in perhaps the biggest rort in the comp's history.
The eastern seaboard is big enough to support the game, it has for 100 years.
