Yeah and I reckon the Broncos could've made a bigger effort (or as it turns out, AN effort) to get him too. But it looks like they've decided their only priority atm is keeping as many of this current group together for as long as they can.
And I don't mind it actually because what Brisbane may lack in terms of a marquee halves combo (although Norman may turn out to be a good un) they make up for with a group that contains a lot of creative players across a lot of positions.
The Broncos are really deep at the moment with guys like Michael Gillett still coming off the bench and when more of them make Origin teams in the next year or three the salary cap space that the club currently must have will quickly be eaten up as these young guys demand upgraded contracts.
