Why is that Ray Warren when commentating games involving the Broncos always refers to Lockyer by his first name "Darren" but other players by their surnames?

Something to think about as I head to bed

You guys are off your heads.

He is easily one of the best.

One of the best kicking games i have seen.

His passing game , creation is phenominal. Has a great ability to create, put people through gaps etc is outstanding.

    His defense is good.

Look, this year he has started to show his age somewhat, but plays arguably a massive part in their sccess.

    One of the greats.

His passing game , creation is phenominal. Has a great ability to create, put people through gaps etc is outstanding.

    His defense is good.

Look, this year he has started to show his age somewhat, but plays arguably a massive part in their sccess.

    One of the greats.

at least there's one New South Welshman on this forum not afraid to heap deserved praise on a Queenslander

you blue bags mention that ONE origin game as the trump card for Andrew Johns' superiority.

I'm not going to try to change anyone's opinion from down that way but I'd take the guy with more premierships, more origins, more clutch plays to win games over the years, the cooler head and the most respected, most revered player in god knows how long - EIGHT DAYS A WEEK

    Isnt it amazing,

Justin Mornaeu of the Minnesota twins earns $15 mill a year, last year he got a head knock with some "slight" concussion and basically missed half the season cause of that "slight" concussion.

Now, i remember 2 years ago when Brett Kimmorley broke his cheekbone in round 25 against the warriors and had it operated on immediately, the very next week i was standing next to him cause i was near the dressingrooms at the SFS when they played the tigers and let me tell you, when i saw his eye, i had to turn away, it looked THRASHED. I mean THRASHED, he seriously looked like Tyson had free reign at him for 1 round. Anyways, i would imagine Lockyer would be looking similar.

ANyways, back to my point, for Lockyer to be playing this week after what happened to him last week and for Morneau to miss 1/2 the year for something no where near as severe is simply astonishing. Furthermore, Lockyer would earn 1/20 of what Morneau would earn.......
