Although USA is a huge country compared to the Cook Islands here are some inside stats on both teams (maybe not so inside depends which way you want to look at it) USA number 7 - David Marando: Plays for a team in one of the many Sydney competitions (Australia), there are at least 12 that I can think of off the top of my head.
Another 7 players in the squad play in similar local competitions in Sydney or on the east coast of Australia. (however they are listed as players for NRL clubs, but actually play in their 2nd or 3rd tier teams)
The Cook Islands team on the other hand have a few NRL players, plus many that are pushing positions in NRL clubs.
I feel the odds represent this match up quite fairly.
But as we have seen so far, the pacific island teams can struggle in the wet conditions.
I would say we have seen this weeks upset in the Scotland game.
My tip is the Cook Islands, they could easily the cover the line, but as with all world cup games between teams that don't often play together there could be a suprise.
My tip would be to leave this game alone.

If you really want the action however, -11.5 for a small play could be fun. If your goal is to really make money, there are plenty of other sports to be playing.

Its hard to see the US getting close to any team in this world cup, they do have 5 players with NRL experience (of note are Clint Newton, the Paulo brothers and Matt Peterson). They did impress in the warm ups but its hard to take much information out of a warm up. The size and experience should be the difference between these two. I agree with river I would take the -11.5 if i had to but i see this one finishing right around the set line.
