had Reds ML in a parlay, it ends in a draw so instead of voiding the leg the cut the odds in half(1.33 becomes 0.66 cents) giving me a negative return on my parlay.....unfreakingbelievable.

If they did anything different it would be a breach of their rules.
They operate under deadheat rules in such situations. So it was graded correct.

Agree 100%. it's the same with TAB in Oz...when you back a fav at ML and it's a draw, you will get portion of your money back....

great thing i now know this and will only be using 365 who dont rob you, biggest scam out

a draw is not a loss, nor is it a win so why the fark should a book be stealing money? they shouldn't, luckily there are books out there who don't.

If the Reds were paying $5 to win I bet you wouldn't be complaining.

Don't centrebet offer a draw option? You are probably lucky it wasnt a loss and that they grade on the dead hwat rule

Like anything in gambling, there's always two sides of the coin. Someone who had the Force in your multi might've been spewing if the payout was under your rules.

P.S. this isn't just limited to Australia, it's the same with the New Zealand TAB.

Like anything in gambling, there's always two sides of the coin. Someone who had the Force in your multi might've been spewing if the payout was under your rules.

P.S. this isn't just limited to Australia, it's the same with the New Zealand TAB.

yeah and what they would've got like 1.40 line? would have been better off with the plus line, thats just an insult really.

yeah the NZ TAB is absolute scum of the earth with their $2 fees for topping up with visa

Luxbet do it as well.  Get this:  betting first 5 innings in MLB the odds are (virtually) the same as for 9 innings but they operate a Dead Heat Rule even in this sport so a tie after 5 innings and you lose half your stake!

Is there ANY book outside Aus or NZ that performs this disgrace?

Well, so basically you are giving up the juice on the favorite or a -0.5.  Dead Heat Rule in a 5 Inning prop is only worthwhile when you are betting the favorite.  Unless the dog is given added value on the line, there isn't really any reason to play a dog on the Dead Heat option.

Still better than 1.00 though, it's a rule that could either be good or bad for you. Unfortunately for you, you were on the wrong end of that.

It's merely a rule variation, not an example of crookedness.

in most cases it's going to work against you, think about it.

how often do you have a draw between a team paying money where it would actually be advantageous over a + handicap?

the books are smart, they know this and thats why they have it in place. personally i think its pathetic and know if i ever want to do a favs parlay again 365 is the place lol.
