Breezys NRL round 5 (and afl)

3-6 last week, but finished the weekend 0-5, so could’ve been better.

NRL record is 6-9-1

AFL record is 3-5.

Onto the next week, looking specifically at the Eels and Raiders game for NRL this weekend, could be money there. In saying that

Raiders ml vs Canterbury Bulldogs (1.75)

Fremantle to win vs Gold Coast is probably bet of the round T2m. Dockers are 1.47 but instead of the game being played at Gold Coast home ground (like it should be) it will be played in Perth, which is fremantles home ground and gives them a huge advantage over many teams. So I don’t think the bookies have quite adjusted. Even freo to win 15+ could be worth a bet but the ml @ 1.47 is great value and should be added into every multi.Geelong to win vs Eagles is another good bet as well. My favourite team is he eagles but I can’t see them beating Geelong after a loss. Geelong are paying 1.80 and I think that is hell of a lot of value. They’re better in every position than us

Actually t2M I can’t see an underdog winning this week. The best chance I see is Bulldogs beating Bombers but I would never play that. I reckon all favourites are a good chance. My top 5 favourites in order (if you want to play a multi)

Port Adelaide -15, Freo ML, Geelong ML, Melbourne ML, Richmond ML

I think it’s crap Storm get West’s twice in the first 5 rounds. It’s like the league wants to confirm its top 4 birth by the end of origin. Why not give it to and team that could use a bit of a break, like this would be a perfect time for West’s to play themselves but obviously they can’t do that.
