Just listening to Glen Munsie on the big sports breakfast and he
mentioned that Todd Greenberg had had a conversation with him, to give
him information about the Barba situation, to help sort out markets that
were suspended yesterday.
I think I have some issues with this.
1 unlike horse racing, the sport doesn't exist for the punt, it stands
alone (though I do know that sponsorship by betting agencies supports
the game)
2 as part of that separation between the NRL and gambling, the CEO of a
club should NOT be informing a betting agency (has he informed all
agencies, or just some)
If Greenberg is the great administrator people claim, he should have
steered clear of this conversation, esp with claims of match fixing in
Australian sport getting around.

Greenberg has no reason to ever talk to Munsie

Reminds me of a baseball player who just signed with the Angels. He went through years of stress of hating the spotlight, mostly on the road. But he got through it.

Or, if you're feeling old-school, a line of nose dust or a tab of angel hair before hitting the mound. Oil Can Boyd, Dwight Gooden, anyone?

All sorts of types in baseball. He's just a bit eccentric who has no time for all that goes with the attention. I have a favorite band who's drummer is the same way, he just isn't weird like Greinke.

Can't see the fascination the Aussies have with the fruit machines. Only blue hairs love that garbage here in the States. Surely a few goes on the BJ or Craps tables would be more appetizing.
