The new covers is very emo

A couple of things the blues can take out of this game - their defense was brilliant.

Brett White threw a legitimate right and knocked Price out.

Kurt Gidley played with busted ribs and showed real mettle.

Game on 2010. NSW have almost got it right, so sack the selectors and put me in charge and

I hope Waterhouse doesn't get a bad rep for that, he was merely trying to put an end to the fight.

Something else the Blues can take out of that match...Williams does not know how to tackle and he created every Qld opportunity - get rid of him and the Blues are right.

not sure why the refs sent waterhouse off, i know he ran in but he ran in to break it up and price was already out cold by the time waterhouse made contact, in fact waterhouse shielded price whilst he was on the ground.

that game, for a blues fan, is everything that was missing from the first two games. the only real blemish was qld's first try appart from that they worked hard all game and didn't budge.

your right about williams gun, can't tackle, wanders off his wing, makes me nervous anytime he gets involved.

any thoughts on the penalty try?

Gidley played hard with busted ribs, at the start off the game i felt they tried to keep him out of the action to help protect him and i must admit i was worried he may be a liability, in the end a champion effort by Gidds.

i bet he is a real sore boy tommorow when the adrenaline runs out.

i just read the fox sports article and their record of events states that waterhouse was sent for 'decking' price.

not sure what game they were watching, price was clearly knocked out by White's right hand smashing his chin. it is possible that is why waterhouse was sent but it is not what happened.

so i wonder what mischief we will hear about tommorow with respect to the origin players and their post game celebrations.

if i am a coach i would lock em all up for the night, both teams will be more than fired up on the drink tonight.

Penalty try was, imo, and according to a strict adherence to the rules of the game, the wrong decision. However, they are trying to eradicate that tactic from the game and JT should have known better. Note Gidley's knee to stop a Tonga try - where do they draw the line? haha.

Gidley is a gun, but he always managed to have at least 2 crucial errors in each game - I don't see him doing that for Newy. I'm sure he'll be even better next year.

And Watmough played two of the best origin games ive ever seen in game two and three,he was brilliant

Hayne was very good

Watmough was awesome as well. My opinion of Watmough is well known, but I'll happily say that he stood up and played tough.

I gave Wolfman a second chance after the last game but christ, I think Brett Morris deserves a crack at that wing spot.

Did Slater ground the ball for that last try or what? Looked to me like he bounced it, but I didn't see it well on the screen at the pub. Queensland should have been shut out - Williams directly responsible for two tries. Killed the under and a sizeably larger win for the evening.
