Ok, i just want to ask everyone a question here....

We have seen that when a team has injuries, they get absolutely floored...........Cows, Broncs, Dogs etc etc

Why is it, when key players are out in the NBA, the injured team floors everyone they play and after the game, the players say, "everyone has to step it up in the players absence".....

Why, why, why.....

Hey battler whats your thoughts on the sharkies/knights game? I've got it at -5.5 at my book and I cant see myself not betting on Newcastle. Travels not gonna be a factor, Simpson and Hilder are back along with Gidley in his second game back? Whats your thoughts?

Taia may play also. I think the Knights have got far too many points in them for Cronulla. I'd play -5.5

The trip to Shark Park used to be one of the most feared away games, but the Sharks record against us there is only 10-7 lifetime. We've won 2 of the past 3 down there as well.

Yeah was tossing that options up as well, but never been a fan of winning margins. Might put a small bet on the margin as well as going big on the line.

What is with the Knights' and their second half meltdowns ? Is it lack of fitness ? Did they watch too many Adelaide 36ers games during the off season ? What ?

I had the Knights -3.5 in a PYOL double last weekend and could scarcely believe the way I had to sweat it out despite a 30-6 halftime lead

It is atrocious mate. Worst second half team in the comp. I don't know why it is. Rick Stone is trying to offer up stupid excuses (we drop the ball, we give away a penalty etc).

Hopefully Gidley helps straighten this out anyway.

Do not bet the Knights in the 2H until they have shown they are over whatever it is that's wrong with them after half time.

Yeah I had them to cover the spread and I was sweating bullets. Apparently they've been addressing their meltdowns this week so hopefully they come out with a bit more heart in the 2nd. Anyone got a forecast for 2moro's game?
