Yeah, I noticed that too.  A lot of big losers this round.  I was surprised not to see any huge wagers on the Storm -23/4.5.  I thought that was a no-brainer considering last round and what shape the Titans are in.

this team has made 13-12 type victories it's forte in 2008, and apart from the win they had in Canberra i struggle to think of many wins they've had by more than 2 or 4 points

sharks are the golfing equivalent of those 70 year olds who can't hit it more than 200m yet somehow manage to play off a handicap of 4 !

Couldn't agree more. I played both the line and ml, but played the ml 2:1 for that very reason.

Tell ya what I'm really looking forward to the 'other' friday night game as well - Dragons vs Wests Tigers.
 
I say 'other' because it's going to be so heavily overshadowed by the grand final rematch.
 
but I reckon the Dragons v Tigers will be a terrific game as well, can't wait

Exactly.  Which is why I took Sharks ML.  They don't care by how much, just that it gets done.  Great example this round of that.

I don't like taking teams that are coming off big wins. Mentally they rarely come up again, they don't want to do the tough stuff. The only teams I'll take coming off big wins are Melbourne, Manly and to a lesser extent Brisbane.

Melbourne are in a different class then Manly. It seems to me as though they have had their eye on this game for a few weeks. What more would Melbourne want to do then put Manly to the sword? Smash them again, just like they did earlier in the year, and in last years GF.

Come this years GF Melbourne would like to have a clear mental edge over Manly. This will be a statement game

I feel the Storm have it over Manly in every position on the park, including fullback. They also want to consolidate a top 2 spot.

Who wants to have a bet in the Bulldogs/Cowboys game?

And lets hope Penrith are a silly price against Canberra

Tim Sheens won't let them get too carried away - it was only Canterbury. And the Dragons need to make way for Newcastle in 6th spot anyway

If the price is right, I'll have a crack at the Cowboys this week - they are playing with far more heart than the other lot, even if they have lost a thousand on the trot.
 
I'm not as keen as you on Penrith though.

Like your analysis of the Storm/Sea Eagles game.  Bellamy was already talking about how Melbourne was ready for Manly a mere couple hours after beating the Titans.  I thought that was strange.....but now I see it better.
