If I'd said so before the game, with the whole board on the Roosters, I would have been guilty of a one-eyed diatribe.

It struck me as strange that the Knights opened around the -3.5 mark, yet when Kurt was ruled out they came into just -2.5/1.5.... Kurt worth just 2 to the line? Hardly, had he missd the Parra game or the Penrith game Newcastle probably lose both. No, I think the line screamed out that the Roosters are rubbish.

Sunny afternoon in Newcastle, fans hoping for a big 'fuck you' to Brian Smith. Newcastle circa 2011 are a side where you know exactly what you will get: they'll chase hard, tackle hard, throw the ball around and if nothing else, will have a red-hot go for the full 80 minutes. Those who thought the Roosters would do the same are kinda funny. Newcastle's willingness to let Beau Henry go becomes more apparent everytime Stig and Roberts get a chance to play.
