Eels are disgusting, and I suggest that Andersen has a lot to do with that.  Granted the guy has had a lot of success, but this is the present and coaches lose their touch.  The Eels just lost to a team that (at the 74th minute)  missed 34 tackles, could only score 19 pts and conceded 4 more penalties than their opposition.

I wanted to back the Tigers straight up but only had the balls to take them with a +6.5 start, not because I rate Benji, I think he is terrible and he only had two good plays tonight against his many fark-ups.  I took them because they were playing the Eels, a team with a more than decent playing roster, but not a hope.

Eels can't keep blaming the coach all the time, the same players have been horrible under a few different coaches

The players are just pathetic and not up to first grade standard, it doesn't matter who coaches these scubs,Wayne Bennet or Craig Bellmay couldn't get these losers to win

100% the players fault, they are all horrible

I didn't think the effort was that lacking, Burt was awesome, and Hindmarsh / Cayless / Hayne / Moi-Moi (when on) / Inu / Reddy / Galuvao (whilst injured) were decent.  For me, it was their attack - so many chances on the line and produced nothing.  Well done Andersen - boot Finch and put in Robwho...

    Parramatta @ $1.80 (4) =

I'll sort out the round later, but I'd imagine it's about 50 into the red..

No, Parra stay - together with Penrith these two teams must thwart the ridiculous attempt of the AFL to takeover league heartland.  Get Sterlo involved heavily in the coaching - the talent is there.

Chooks need to hand the cheque book to somebody else - I mean, an aging Mason / O'Meley / Minichello / Anasta / Fitzgibbon combo was never going to win the title.  I seriously question the motives of the management group behind that organisation.

It's a running joke on here mate - disgruntled gamblers kicking teams out of the comp.

The 2nd AFL team in Sydney will never work anyway. The Sydney sporting public is fickle enough as it is, they aren't going to back two sides. The AFL are only doing it because, unlike the NRL, they can afford to throw bad money after good at it.

No doubt. I said along time ago that their recruitment manager should be the first bloke sacked.

Apologies for beating a dead horse, haven't had the chance to keep up to date with happenings - although I must admit, sometimes I'm more interested in the hard facts as opposed to the clowning about.  You'll be back AB, your performance early in the season was not luck, and I'm confident you'll be up significantly by the end of the year.

I'll pay that, his performance was farkin hilarious.  And then in the post-match conference, he and Fittler were laughing about it - good to see they are enjoying themselves whilst sponsors and shareholders have their coin on the line.  That move was never going to work

Anasta is one of many at the moment not playing up to scratch but I am taking into account his past couple of seasons as the big reason the chooks had some success. His combination with Pierce is non-exsistent at the moment but they have proven they can win games. His form is dictated by have the team is performing at the minute, the forwards are showing no fight and the backs are not showing no desparation. Sure he is not playing great but neither is anyone else. And Im sure that post match jest was for the cameras, Anasta would have been pissed to be put at fullback but just toed the team line.
