    AB, any thoughts on hedging?

Don't know mate, I'm not a big fan of hedging but ur in a good spot right now for some insurance play.

Or fuck it let it ride if u feel strong about the storm.

Mate, to me the eels look like the real deal. And playing in sydney is a huge factor.

Head over Heart, where art thou?

Your Chookin poofsters have sunk below rock bottom.

Your Wolverines barely escaped at home against a lame Indiana team.

And My Hawkeyes gave 5th ranked Penn St yet another beat down in front of 109,000....

Michigan must be pissing their collective panties at the thought of going to Iowa in 2 weeks.

The last game the Melbourne Drizzle won in sydney was in round 9 against the wooden spooners, come on!!. Dogs 26-10 in Gosford, Raiders 26-16 in Canberra, PARRA 18-16 in Parra, Dragons 26-12 Sydney, Knights 26-14 Newcaste. Yes that last score wasn't a typo even the Knights towled up MS in NSW. Its evident that the Storm don't show up when they come to Sydney this game will be no different. Storm are soon to become the chokers of chokers, 1/4 grandfinals haha and that stat is in the back of the mind of every storm player, official and fan!! Robson to dominate once again for the clive churchill!!! PARRA 2009 PREMIERS PUT YOUR HOUSE ON IT!!!!"

Their finals stat in sydney ain't great either, especially in ANZ. I tell you whats out the window, melb's form once they're in sydney. I don't know how people can take the storm at this price, should be 50/50 imo. Anyteam that can outplay the top 2 sides in the finals and have the previlige to play on their turf is the winner for me.

Storm 1.60 faves for winning two games at home, get the fuck outta here. Having played against the warriors, eagles (played like shit) and the banged up broncos leading up to this. Look at the quality of sides the eels have beaten to make it this far, storm are getting too much respect here against the hottest team with the best player on board.

Like I said before if the eels can reproduce last week's performance, they'll win. Bulldogs played their hearts out, eels just found another gear.

Some guest on PTI Australia was quoting Lockyer on the Storm, and his premise was that they just don't give you anything.

    Hayne > bottled up.

And if league is anything like football, then that road to the finals tends to take a bit more out of a team.

Really?  If Lockyer said that, it's all over I guess. No chance for the eels after that comment

The eels have conceded as many tries as the storm in 3 games of finals footy

league anything like football....I guess u mean gridiron, well I don't think so, fate is depended on 1 group of blokes on the field majority of the time, also in league the teams outside of NSW have the unfair disadvantage of having to play in sydney for the premiership.

Look I know what u mean, the storm will be fresh for this game, big factor leading into this. I know there is a strong possibility that Cayless is out for the game, but if the bulldogs can do it without pricey back in '04 why can't this eel's team? they still have the inspirational player in Hindmarsh.

If this was the storm side 2-3 years ago, I'd agree that the storm -4 would be a good bet.
But now minus falou replaced with players like chambers and nielsen playing front of the hostile crowd...with their star recruit finch, I do smell some weakness with this team.

They are the luckiest side in this decade to cruise into the GF this year.

Who really expected the eagles to beat the storm twice in one season in melb, matter of fact I dont think there is any team in the league that has won 2 consecutive games in melb against the storm. The books baited people by installing manly as favorites 3 weeks ago, u know the storm had plenty of revenge bottled up for this game.

And whether they're healthy, fresh and in top form. The broncos just can't beat the storm in melb, sad but it's been like that for most teams in the league now. All credit to the storm ofcourse, under bellamy they have been the best home side for many seasons now.

    Hayne>Slater

    Hayne>Benji '05

    eel's form>storm

    D Anderson'09>Bellamy'09

    manly'08>grand finalists '09

NRL GF long weekend>christmas (that'll change come december)

If these factors play out, we could see an 18 to 8 sort of score.

Inspirational Hindmarsh? If you need outside/extra inspiration for a final, then that qualifies as a red flag in my book.

They are the luckiest side in this decade to cruise into the GF this year.

Hard to make that sort or argument with luckiest and cruise in the same sentence.

Who really expected the eagles to beat the storm twice in one season in melb,

Just about as much sense as the plodding Eels sneaking into the final 8 from 14th down and into the final.

Play 26 regular season games and more weird will happen.

    Hayne>Slater

    Nah - Slater outscores Hayne.

    Hayne>Benji '05

    Ditto.

    eel's form>storm

Eels are streaking. Streakers are eventually exposed , especially in championship games.

I think it depends on the teams. I've seen real good and some bad from both codes.
