I get bored of baseball every year after about 30 games into the season

No luck in baseball

The only luck there is in baseball is when the ball gets caught up in the lights, two fielders collide, cleats trip a player up, a player slips on the at-bat circle, fan interference stops or changes a play (Steve Bartman, anyone)...............

....yes, there is luck in baseball.....but it isn't included in the pitcher v. batter duel.

swinging bunts, Ball hits the bag, ball takes a bad turn, ball bounces hard off the turf for a ground rule double instead of the man from 1st scoring, he gets held up at 3rd, bloop hits, ball gets smashed but straight to a fielder for a double play, bases loaded the pitcher is up, bases loaded Pujols is up.

All these change the game
