i wanted to see some serious footy talk. not enough imo. is it a footy show or a comedy show or something in between?

if the only crack at channel nine football monopoly is this then i want serious footy talk. i don't mind the funny stuff and skits etc but give me a real reason to watch. give me the insight thats gonna help me make mo money.

I thought it was pretty good. Really liked the Controversial corner. I thought Paul Kent did a great job. He wasn't backwards in asking some pretty tough questions which has always been a criticism of mine of the Footy Show - often taking it a bit easy on some of their guests instead of asking them the tricky questions.

Anyway, I'll be tuning back in next week.

controversy corner was always going to be their big play. get the games most controversial player and give a hack 6 weeks to think of questions

The show is not any better than the footy show in fact its probably worst.

AFL based TV shows are by far more superior, even their channel 9 footy show equivalent is funnier and more reliable with game analysis and info.

I guess League based TV shows need to be dumbed down for the masses.

The wife had it on last night for about 1/2 hour (while I was on the puter) before I realized what the hell it was. She was dead tired and prolly didn't know any better, either.

I can't watch that shit, but I'm used to them talking about football when the show and subject matter is about....
