Target I live in Canada, I follow the usual sports, football, baseball, hockey, soccer and hoops.  But I saw world cup of rugby so I looked into it peace_5

Last 100 rugby games Samoa never cover -29.5..  no even close..


Hmm Russian +29.5 looks ok.. if anyone wants to bet.. I don’t want to bet until weekends..

Any leans for tonight T2? Wales v Georgia

Seems like the dogs are barking early with not too many blowouts, but watching the games it’s inevitable that one of the stronger teams takes care of business by 40+

I agree backing Samoan teams with big spreads is risky, but:

-Russia are starting the same XV that started against Japan-only 4 days later. The Russian players looked very tired in the second half, not sure how well they'll back up just 4 days later 
-The humid weather should suit the Samoans 

I'm figuring out what my final bet will be on this game, but 4 day turnaround (and no changes to the team) is tough for the top teams, let alone Russia.

You got good point....but  honestly how the hell Wales didn’t cover that cap...if wales could  not..no way Samoan and Fijian will cover..  its too big..

I skipped the Wales game yesterday, but will hop on board Russia +30 at Pinnacle and Uruguay +30.5

Seems like the books are giving out free money just taking dogs every game.  I think one of the reasons for that is even if a team is up big, they let up in the second half knowing the next match is just around the corner.  4 days between games for a physical game like Rugby is insane.  That's like having football teams play every 4 or 5 days, that takes a huge toll.

Yeah, my strategy has been to back team tries lines rather than spreads with some games. For e.g. Italy, I took Italy over 5.5 tries in game. I won, but a lot of people lost on Italy -30.5 on that last Namibian try. Try total markets can be a good alternative instead of big spreads.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Samoa cover.

They are a huge team in size and the Russian team is relatively small. 

Don't see how Russia can stop them really.

Interestingly enough, Samoa found themselves in a similar position in the 2011 world cup. Namibia opened their tournament with a respectably defeat against Fiji, going down 25-49. Just like Russia in this world cup, Namibia had to back up again just four days later, against Samoa. Samoa won the game in convincing fashion 49-12, and were up 49-0 until the last 13 minutes of the game.

That was 8 years ago, sure, but it's an interesting example given the parallels.

Hey guys, just need to check has it been every favourite win so far in this world cup??? I dont think even one single dog has won yet? Surely must be an upset coming soon guys...

Looking forward to weekends guys, we have NRL finals, Mitre 10 Cup Rugby and World Cup Rugby and AFL.

Target, Canada scares me a bit.  I think Italy can cover that spread. They won by 25 against them and Canada is alot worse than Namibia.  Just a gut feeling that's when a fave covers. Canada is BAD. Real bad.

Remember 2 weeks ago USA -9.5 and Canada won that game.. lots people were allover USA..

20 points too big for Italy..just my thoughts only.. but I can not back -20.5 sirrrr

Oh I agree with you no way can you bet a team laying 20 points not from what I have seen so far this world cup.

Just found out they award a bonus point for getting 4 tries that's interesting.  Makes for more offensive game
