2014: Fiji won 25-14 in Suva
2013: Italy won 37-31 in Cremona
2010: Italy won 24-16 in Modena
2006: Fiji won 29-18 in Lautoka
2005: Italy won 23-8 in Monza
2001: Italy won 66-10 in Treviso
2000: Fiji won 43-9 in Lautoka
    1999: Fiji won 50-32 in L’Aquila

Prediction: It will be a tightly-contested affair but Italy have a more organised defensive structure. For this reason, Italy by 10.

close game  either team to win 1-7 for me

I like Scotland with the +13.5 I got 14.5 earlier in the week but I am tempted to double down. After watching Fiji play Italy who were dominated by Scotland last week I think the Scots have a good chance here for an upset over Aussie who were unconvincing vs Fiji last week.

There has been nothing between these two sides last 4 games with the biggest margin being 6 and two 1 point games.

Got to take the point and a dabble on the Scots to win what do you think T2?

There has been nothing between these two sides last 4 games with the biggest margin being 6 and two 1 point games.

Got to take the point and a dabble on the Scots to win what do you think T2?

I mentioned earlier that game two is the best game of every Origin series. That isn't strictly true, but what is true is that the series is always on the line in game two. Someone can either win the series or keep the series alive. It's intense, it's nerve-wracking, it can be bloody delightful and it can be heart-breaking. It breaks my heart, but I think the Blues can repeat their heroics from game one and take the series in front of the Blue Army.

    Verdict – NSW 16 : QLD 12

    Best Bet: NSW 1-12 ($2.65)
    Other Bet: Under 32.5 ($1.90)

nd thanks to Oracle for the preview of Chiefs v B&I Lions on Tuesday

Really fancy the Lions -5.5 @evens. Similar team to the last few midweek games so will be more cohesion and they playing against a pretty much B team Chiefs lineup. Don't think you can compare this Chiefs team to the teams they've previously met midweek. They'll be hungry to impress and try sneak on the bench for Saturday so expecting a comfortable win.

The Blues are expecting a massive effort by the Meroons. The Meroons will throw everything at NSW. However, the Blues will go to a sublime level, leaving nothing in the tank, and win the game and the series. We will see the end of an era that may never be matched in the future

JT wont last the game, his injury and stamina won’t last, the Blues will destroy the Marrons in the middle and wil score out wide, Smith and Cronk will be niggling the Blues the whole game. The Marrons will be wrestling and laying all over the Blues to slow play down. Blues by 3 tries plus.

he Blues have the stability and the quality to win Game 2 however their opposition will be desperate and will pose far more questions with and without the ball than they did in Brisbane. New South Wales cannot afford to underestimate the fierceness and intensity that will fuel their opposition. Queensland can control the tempo and build and sustain pressure. They have a handful of proven match-winners at this level. New South Wales can win but it will be no walk in the park.

    Blues by 4.

    New South Wales Blues

    1. James Tedesco, 2. Blake Ferguson, 3. Josh Dugan, 4. Jarryd Hayne, 5. Brett Morris, 6. James Maloney, 7. Mitchell Pearce, 8. Aaron Woods, 9. Nathan Peats, 10. Andrew Fifita, 11. Josh Jackson, 12. Boyd Cordner (c), 13. Tyson Frizell. Interchange: 14. David Klemmer, 15. Wade Graham, 16. Jake Trbojevic, 17. Jack Bird.

    Queensland Maroons

    1. Billy Slater, 2. Valentine Holmes, 3. Will Chambers, 4. Darius Boyd, 5. Dane Gagai, 6. Johnathan Thurston, 7. Cooper Cronk, 8. Dylan Napa, 9. Cameron Smith (C), 10. Jarrod Wallace, 11. Gavin Cooper, 12. Matt Gillett, 13. Josh McGuire, 14. Michael Morgan, 15. Josh Papalii, 16. Coen Hess, 17. Tim Glasby.

he Blues are more than deserved favourites back at home where they will be hoping to close out the series. There is no doubt that they have the dominant forward pack, and should once again run roughshod over the Maroons. But the inclusion of Slater and Thurston simply can’t be underestimated. The Blues should win, but from a punting point of view, a Maroons side with Slater, Thurston, Cronk, and Smith is value any time they are outsiders.

Top Tip: Queensland win @ $2.42

Wow gatland has thrown us a couple of curveballs with his selection. Pack almost as expected and looks pretty strong, have to say AWJ over Itoje is criminal on form. Backline is where it gets interesting if you had told me gatland would pick Williams & daly over north & halfpenny I would of said you were smoking something you shouldn't. Make no mistake this is a backline to attack not just to defend the all blacks backline. Anyway this is a long winded way of saying that if conditions are fair then over on points and tries look very attractive (I've seen a points line of 45.5)

Agree that Gatland needs a physchological evaluation for leaving out Itoje but the Lions are in this, don't fancy the all Black team either, don't think it's their best combinations so should be a good game. Don't know if it'll be a try fest either though, I may be wrong but I don't think Gatland is even that stupid to think they can beat New Zealand in a high scoring game, can see them playing a tight, territorial game.

allblacks  to win  1-10   @3.50 or 11-20   @3.25.. if you bet both these two bets.. still good profit..

it  has been raining and  will rain game times.. will be closed battle.

Lions  will defend hard and play a counter attacking game. It's going to be a physical scrappy series
