Exeter’s winning streak after a slow start to the season is nothing short of remarkable, stretching back to their last league defeat back in October. They only won two of their first seven games, but haven’t lost a match in the Premiership since then. If it were Leicester Tigers, everyone would be talking of how well they have timed their run into the end of the season.
Saracens may have a winning mentality, but so does Exeter, and given home advantage plus the more focused preparation, I’m picking Exeter to make the final. Exeter by 2.
Wasps have won the last three meetings between the two sides, and are on a different trajectory as a team – they know how to beat Leicester, they have the confidence and superior personnel to do so, and I’m going to write off the Tigers.

Widnes will be hungry to get a much needed win, particularly in such a large venue with the preying eyes of opposition fans watching them. Wakefield will also be looking to put a stop to their current dip in form, so it should be an exciting opening to the weekend.
I think the occasion will be the lift that Widnes need, they went well against Warrington in the Challenge Cup last weekend and showed some real threats at times, particular through their younger members.

However, judging by how well Hull have played in the past few weeks, I can’t see St Helens winning this game. They’ll put up a good fight, they usually do, but I think that Hull will win by at least two tries.
I will always back Wigan in big games, and this is a huge one for both sides on Saturday. Don’t get me wrong, the losers season won’t be over, but for the winner, it brings great confidence and momentum going forward. Warrington are getting the results of late, but without much conviction. Meanwhile Wigan are struggling, low on personnel, but still playing well, and giving it all they’ve got.

This is easily one of the games of the round, and judging off last week’s performances from both sides it will be an interesting game to watch – especially if Moses makes his debut in the halves with Gutherson. Both sides should put in strong efforts to get back to their winning ways. Canberra by 2.
The Titans will be confident leading into the match after last week’s performance, the Sea Eagles will be determined to come back after their loss last week. With Manly’s record away from home, Manly by 10

What To Expect
Collingwood are absolute poison as a favourite and with Hawthorn finding some form over the last month are the team to bet. Don’t mind the injury crisis that has swept the Hawks. They have historically bested the Magpies, they are great plays as an underdog and are a good cover team at the MCG at night. Collingwood cover just 38% of games as a favourite.

The Force will have to overcome one of the toughest travel itineraries in world sport after returning from Argentina mid-week. The Highlanders have won their last 6 games in a row and will be desperate to keep in touch with the NZ conference leaders.
