Here are my predictions and wagers on the British Open

Tiger MISSES the cut

i plopped $500 on tiger getting 18-1. meh. I think he's due and will play better when everyone expects him to do poorly in this major. also I don't think tiger's the type of guy that would fly clear over the pond for a golf tournament if he didn't think he could win the whole dang thing.

i realize he had surgery and everything but it seems like people forget how badly tiger dominated last season with 5 wins. casual fans seem to just focus on the majors and write off the other tourneys like they're jokes.

tiger is gonna surprise a lotta people in this tournament i'm predicting. they're predicting a wet weekend so it should be interesting how everyone handles the course.

He'll make the cut. Nobody mentioned he won here in 2006 after his worst major showing that year in the US Open....76, 76 trunk slammer.

Tiger looked pretty sharp today overall. Actually extremely sharp. His swing looked confident and consistent and his overall short game was above average. I saw a lot of the tiger we know to dominate. How about that acrobatic bunker play on 18? How about a tiger vs rory playoff at the end for a major? Young vs old if you will. Exciting weekend!
