i have been fortunate to have won betting golf for each of the last 4 years. i abide by the following rules:
1. don't bet much money. there are usually 150+ players each week. probably 80% have a chance to win. if you play $50 for the weekend and lose you will not be looking for the nearest cliff!
2. don't bet favorites (under 20/1). they only win 15% of the time.
3. don't bet top 5, top 10 or first round leader. odds are low and ties kill you.
if you win 1 tournament every 2 months you will be a big winner! it is fun betting this way and not stressful.
note: i have found that favorites odds go down and longshots odds go up as the 1st tee time approaches.

well once again I had Alex Cejka @ 100-1 "in range" @ -11 going into the final round BUT shoots par. probably made NO difference as NO one was catching Kevin Kisner's 22 under WIN this week. he was 4th fav @ 20-1 pre-tourney @ William-Hill
