"many have proclaimed that he will never win a major "
Who the heck has said this?
This reminds me of all the junk people were talking about Nadal 2 years ago, stuff like he would never win another slam, blah blah.
I would bet my life on Tiger winning another major. The guy is insanely young in golf terms.
I hope you don't bet your life. You don't want to risk it.
35 isn't old in golf terms, but it's not insanely young either (clearly, you don't know the meaning of the word young, although I do think you are more familiar with the term insane).
Tiger is also dealing with MAJOR medical problems. I'm not sure if you've ever played golf before (I get the feeling you're one of these guys who doesn't play sports, but you think you know more than everyone else combined because you're good at ... say, Tiger Woods 11) but with a bad knee, a wonky achilles, and a wounded psyche - Tiger is FAR from the picture of health. And while the Achilles will heal - the knee will never be 100 percent, and Tiger's aura of invincibility (which was as important as his swing in winning some of his majors) is gone. Tiger is gone. Eldrick is in the house now. And his odds of winning a major aren't 100 percent. So don't bet your life man. Just your house and car. You can replace those when you lose...
