Off to the Carolina's for the Wells Fargo Championship. Beautiful track set to host the 2017 PGA Championship. There's been a lot of changes since last year to prepare for the up coming Major. New putting surfaces for one. New tees, fairways moved, etc... Tight course where accuracy off the tee is important. Big greens make it hard to get it close on approach.

Take it for what its worth but one of the guys we play with around here was paired with Cauley last week and although he scored ok he is hitting it awful!! may struggle on a tighter track

Ya I know....I only put one up on Instagram of the Byron Nelson statue. I did take several pics, but I was so caught up in trying to drive the ball good and just play good in general, that I didn't post much. Course was nice though....greens were rolling good too. I don't get to play tracks with greens like that to often, so it was good to match my superb short game to the course. They were busy getting ready for the Nelson. Crews everywhere setting up the stands, getting bunkers ready, etc....They had the championship tees blocked off and had tarps over them. We had to play from the forward tees which made it fun.
Michael Breed from the Golf Fix on the golf channel was there. He stood on the 18th tee and watched everybody hit, then pulled you aside and gave you a little "golf fix". That was really cool.
It was a great day all in all. My team ended up with a 2 over 72. Winning group shot 66!!
