WHAT a fukking WRECK of a START!!! 5 of 8 1st round bets LOSE!!!

at least Rory did NOT "run away and hide" the opening round @ [+1] so my Spieth [+1] and Matsuyama [-1] tourney bets are alive

the GOOD is Thorbjorn Olesen [-4] and Haotong Li [+2] have 6 shot leads and with any luck Westwood [+2] and Knox [+6] will be CUTS after Friday which should be @ [+3]

the BAD is that big schwarze Vegas 4 behind Keegan Bradley [+7] to [+3] and "The Hoff" 2 behind "Cheeseburger" [+4] to [+2]

the just plain BUTT UGLY is Thomas "Salt" Pieters [+8] is BURIED vs Stenson [+3] and Thomas [+2]. HOW the HELL a player can shoot like he did last week @ The Bridgestone and completely BLOW UP a week later is beyond me

some "cats & dogs" challenging for the lead after the 1st round. Thor Olesen [-4] is tied with Kevin Kisner for the lead while Grayson Murray, Chris Stroud and DA Points all @ [-3] along with US Open winner Brooks Koepka and Gray Woodland. a LOT of golf still to PLAY

2nd round match plays. the favorite does NOT make sense [1st round scores] @ Westgate

well another losing day 2 for 5 in match plays. that jerkoff Fleetwood "blows up" with a [+4] to Thomas [-5]. I need that other way around

pick a "Euro Trash" player, ANY "Euro Trash" player, with the exception of Thomas "Salt" Pieters who held on for 4th and Paul Casey tied for 5th. supposed "Top Guns" Fleetwood, Noren, Stenson. Molinari, Schwartzel, Grace, Rahm, Hatton, Wiesberger, Rafael Cabrera-Bello & Company ALL fell FLAT on their BUTT @ Firestone South. about the ONLY bright spot for the Euro's besides Pieters and Casey was Aussie Scott Hend who had a 3rd round [-7] 63 and Thor Olesen with a final round [-5] 65 to both get tied for tourney 10th. they are both in the William-Hill 40-1 FIELD for next week. btw, I think Russell Knox tied for 5th was a "fluke". the Scotsman has been "Mr Missed Cut" most of the season.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello [+4] for [+7]. "Dis"-Grace [+3] for [+9]. the "Matthew Mouse" Fitzpatrick [+3] for [+8]. "The Mad Hatter" Hatton [+1] for [+7] all CUTS. Tommy Fleetwood "blows up" with [+4] for tourney [+3] to screw TWO bets for me vs Justin Thomas 2nd round AND tourney. ALSO  the (not so) Great Dane Thor Olesen with [+6] for tourney [+2] who is now LOSING to god damn Lee Westwood. one GOOD thing. Russell Knox "blew up" at the end with [+2] for tourney [+8] so I "squeek" my Haotong Li [+4] for tourney [+6] tourney match play with him. both CUT so lower score WINS

"The Mole" bounces back with a [-7] for tourney [-5] to tie Matsuyama for low round of the day and Paul Casey hanging in with [-1] for tourney [-3]

after the [+5] CUT it looks like it is Matsuyama's tourney IF he shoots another "bomber" and Kisner fades some

Oh btw, Thomas "Salt" Pieters with a 2nd round [+6] for tourney [+14] and obviously CUT.  HOW the HELL does a player get 4th last week on an equally tough course and completely BONE IT a week later ???

and Hideki Matsuyama does NOT ??? born in Febuary 1992 he is only 25 years old. this has definitely been the year of the "20 somethings" on the PGA tour. they ALL hit it LONG and usually hit it STRAIGHT so NOT surprising.

well after doing the accounting I did NOT get "beat up" as bad as I thought. all my phone accounts with about the same balance as last Sunday. feel REALLY lucky BUT Matsuyama losing cost me about $420 bucks ("to win" less the Thomas "hedge" + the "where winner from ??? prop) and JD deciding to play golf with that final round  [-4] for tourney [even] cost me his OVER 14 1/2 total tied for 13th. also LOST the UNDERS on Spieth (12 1/2) and Rory (9 1/2) BUT WON the UNDERS on Fowler (17 1/2) and Matsuyama (13 1/2)

got lucky with some +$$$ tourney match plays. Matsuyama +140 over McIlroy and even over Dustin Johnson, Haotong Li +140 over Russell Knox and Thorbjorn Olesen +125 over Lee Westwood BUT my Spieth bets vs McIlroy and DJ went down the finals round. Tommy Fleetwood WON his +280 "quad" group bet over Noren, Thomas and Grace BUT lost three others

I am STILL in shock that Justin Thomas ended up WINNING this thing after his recent performances. one LOSER I had was his "to make the cut" NO prop although the Rose NO paid. STILL pizzed I got touted off the Mickelson NO bet

all in all a decent tourney that COULD have been BETTER. ANY time I break about even in a golf tourney I feel like a WINNER
