Reed ov Phil, Haas ov Phil

Mickelson is coming off of 2 off-season hernia surgeries, and says that it will be a last minute decision whether he tees off or not this weekend. If you put these bets in, and he doesn't tee off you get a refund. If he tees off, he most likely won't make it 4 rounds, and if he does it will just be to get some swings in and it probably won't be real competitive. Love both those guys over Phil.

Now on to the regular picks.

Lovemark ov Rahm

Love mark playing great. A 4th and 6th his last 2 tourneys. Finished 6th here last year. Rahm hasn't played in 2 months, and hasn't played this tournament.

Steele ov Kisner

Kis lost me a bet last week against Webb, but Kisner needed an Eagle on the last hole on Friday just to make the cut. Went out and shot a random -10 round. He had a good history at that tourney last week, but he has a terrible history here. Two MC's and a 48th and 66th. Steele isn't great here, but he finished 6th last week and has a 2nd place finish here two years ago.

Chez Reavie ov Streelman

Riding the hot hand of Chez Reavie. Hasn't missed the cut in a long time, and has an 8th, 4th, and 24th last 3 tourneys. He looks great, and Streelman hasn't played in 2 months. I'll take the golfer in great form over the guy coming back off of a long break.

Luke List ov Webb Simpson

Last 5 tourney's they've played together, List has finished better in all of them. Last year at this tourney List was better than Webb as well (6th compared to 17th). List is also the underdog here at +110. Great value for the guys that's the better golfer right now.

Brian Stuard ov Nick Watney

This is such an ugly bet, but Stuard has a 22nd and 45th the last 2 weeks, and Watney hasn't played since the Shriners where he missed the cut. Watney is terrible, and missed the cut here last year. Not exactly the sexiest group of names to bet on, but all the numbers point to Stuard here.

Really like your picks this week.I saw the lines come out and I had already jumped on 31. Against Phil for reasons you described. I did a bit heavier with Haas2. On Lovemark again for reasons you described. I had him big Sunday for easy Round 4 win against Swafford. He is playing good and has the good history here. And he is a California guy and was a star at USC so playing in California can&#x27;t be a bad thing I split it up though betting against Rahm (&#x2B;110) and against Casey &#x2B;135)3. On Lingmerth (E) against Swafford. Lingmerth was 2d here last year and 24th year before. Swafford not so good. Not a fan. Was leaning Reavie (good history here and playing well)Your others I will look at. Thanks for posting

you know CDS played a lot of sports in my day but golf was one that i got into late, mainly because i thought it was a pretty f*cking

sport. anyway, i started playing in my early 30's. i was pretty bad at first but after a few months, i started to show signs of improvement and i would go to this par3/4 course near my house after work. just as i was ready to take my game to the next level, the old lady got pregnant. as soon as the first kid arrived, that killed any free time i had and any improvement in my golfing skills disappeared. the lesson here, as always, is that nothing will f*ck up a guy's lifestyle quite like getting married and having kids.

so naturally my advice for this week's tournament is to stay away from players with young kids. using this system, i don't see how we don't go at least 3-1 this week.

For fun we may have to go H2H  on this one.  I was leaning Swafford ov Lingmerth, as Swafford seems to be in better form.  I believe last time Johnny Black was the drink of choice after the bet.  Let&#x27;s call this the Johnny Black H2H

Andy,You&#x27;re on!  FWIW Lingmerth was my smallest bet and you may be right as Swafford&#x27;s early stats for 2017 are better.I do consider the "horse for the course" quite a bit when I make my selections, tied together with current form of course, which in this case does favor Swafford.  Thought at Even it was worth a bet as I&#x27;m not a Swafford fan.  Speaking about the "horse for the course" or NOT, I posted that in Abu Dhabi I was taking Jaidee (-115) v Wood.  Wood has a terrible history at this event and Jaidee pretty good.

I guess I&#x27;m becoming a Swafford fan.Looks like Swafford is going to beat Lingmerth.  Swafford leading tourney.  Who&#x27;d have thunk it?I concede.  Lingmerth doing ok, not great.Johnny Black on me!Similar to last week, I may go against Swafford round 4 if he stays up there.  Not sure he can finish.His stats indicate that his rounds 1&amp;2 are much lower than 3&amp;4.Looking like a lousy gambling week for me.Need Haas to beat Phil and/or Lovemark to beat Rahm.

A lot can happen in 2 rounds, but Haas and Reed being awful and Phil lighting it up is a shock.  Hopefully, Phil gets in a rut, but he looks in mid season form right now.

Rat,This tourney is a cut after the 3rd round.3 courses which every player plays 1x until the final round where they all play the same course.Still a chance. Albeit a small chance.

phil has done an incredible job recovering as he normally does, but he has had a lot of luck too. r2 haas hits the fringe on 17 but it rolls back into the drink. double bogey. r3 I have no gd clue how phil&#x27;s ball miracously stayed out of the water on 6. scrambled to a par. 4 stroke swing. phil holed out from the bunker yesterday. he&#x27;s first in the field in one putts in his first tourney back? there&#x27;s a lot of luck involved in this sport. just sucks when you&#x27;re on the wrong end of it. still a day and a half to go...
