Announcers just love this .......fact is as soon as he went to stack and tilt in an effort to rebuild his golf swing his game totally fell apart and never recovered. I guess it would be too honest just to say that........ so every one fells better blaming his demise on injuries..........He had one injury ,it was 7 years ago, hes been healthy ever since and playing any tourney that will let him tee off...........btw, same thing goes for Immelman.

I get a ton of grief for not being a Weir lover since I am Canadian and a lefty and I agree with you for most part. Think the wrist injury was worse then reported and at this point think he is just skull fuc kered. stack and tilt.
You sir are also a humanitarian as well.

Man, I'm glad someone else noticed this. Why do announcers feel the need to seek out some excuse that is beyond a players control to use for declining results. It's the same with managers and coaches, hardly any of them are at fault, or substandard in their abilities and decisions. I guess it must be the need to get along with the people they leech off of,,,, excuse me, I mean work tightly with, to make their livings from.
For Christ sake, Weir is ranked around 700th in the world! I didn't even know they ranked players that deep. He better have lost a limb to use the injury card.
Now watch him make a run, and stick it up my a s s
