Dallas 0-5 ATS against NFC East last 5. Although Washington is something like 3-12 ATS in Dallas I think this will be a close one. Campbell hasn't thrown in INT this year and Portis is still one of the best running backs in the league. Minus the QB, this Washington team is similar to the Eagles and will play Dallas tight. In fact, I think Washington has the edge on the Eagles in their receiving core. All of these NFC East games should be within 5 points all year. High scoring affair again. I don't think that saying that Dallas is #1 in this and #1 in that is a good case. This is a rivalry and will be a fight all game. I don't care if Dallas was #1 in X and Y and Washington was 30th in X and Y, this would still be a close game.

Battle between what? It's like a HS Team meeting the NFL Champs. I can't see Washington win or even lead. The only possible lead that Washington has is if they get the ball first and kick a FG.
Dallas at home is a great bet. Dallas covers before half.

This game really throws me off.. My gut goes with Dallas at home destroying Wash but I'd hate to see Wash show up and keep it close. If you could move 8 points, what would you do? Wash +19?
Dallas -3? It could either go 34-10 Dallas at home or a possible upset within the last 2 minutes.. so confused. I may just lay off this game

I love the Cowboys but there shouldn't be a true Dallas fan anywhere that doesn't get a pit in their stomach every time they play any NFC East team. Romo has made costly mistakes and keeps making them...I would never bet against Dallas but 11 is way too many points to give Washington.

WIth all of the money in the free world being invested on the over, i am taking the under, which according to consensus numbers is being played 7% to 93% for the over. The Redskins also are a ball control team so with that being said, I have to try it out since the majority doesn't think this will be a low scoring game.

If you know anything about football and gambling, you know that this is an easy game to bet. The NFC East ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS plays each other tough. Take a look at the recent Monday Night game between the Eagles and Cowboys. Take a look at the opening game between the Redskins and Giants. These teams haven't lost to a non-divisional opponent yet this year. Best division in football, and this will be another single digit win for more than likely the Cowboys. If you want to throw into a teaser, you may want to tease it down to -1 or so, as it may come down to Nick Folk.
Campbell is playing great, Portis has been solid, and Santana Moss should be able to run free against the below average Cowboys defense. Greg Jennings certainly did last week. Plus the fact that Romo is always good for one or two fuck-ups.

no shit that's part of the game, that's why dallas got the W. I'm saying that with proper execution, they don't fumble, when you're playing elite team on the road like that, you can't screw up... the eagles did and that's why they lost... They had a winning game plan and they made plays throughout the game, they just failed to execute a couple of routine plays and thus handed the game back to the cowboys... Dallas doesn't win that game without some help. They controled the ball better and ran better drives and had the lead late into that game. Any time a team has to rally late into the second half of a game to win when they're favored by a touchdown, saying that they should have covered is as dumb as anything you're accusing me off.
As for your anology, the ronnie brown thing is not at all comparable. Belichek admits to being outcoached. Andy Reid was not outcoached... his team just didn't outperform the opponents... apples and oranges...

do what you do CM, but there are exceptions... eagles got blown out in dallas early last year for example. I just think that if the skins were going to keep it close, vegas would have set that line more towards 9 or 8, rather than 11 so they'd get more money on dallas. we'll see though, the rivalry factor can definitely mess with things.

Redskins +10.5 (1 unit) vs. Cowboys - another
great NFC East rivalry game which should be close like they usually
are. With the exception of a few outliers over the past few years
these teams (and in the division in general) typically play within a TD
of each other. The spread is way too much here and I'll gladly take my
Skins, although it's gonna be small because they can fall into a funk
like their opener this year. Tony Romo is always good for a mistake or
two which means Carlos Rogers and Shawn Springs have to be ready for
the INT. No Jason Taylor on the Skins DL today, so you probably won't
see a whole lot of pressure up front unless theres some blitzing.
Jason Campbell and Portis have been on fire lately, and watch out for a
big game for Moss and even Chris Cooley.

The thing that strays me from betting on the redskins is that horrible showing on the road week 1. Washington has had 2 nice home games since.
What will they look like back on the road today?
Is it worth the gamble to find out?
I sure like the trend on Dallas covering in division. That is a trend that really feel comfortable with saying it is true.

If I had to, skins cover this one.........rivalry here is huge..........skins will not back down for this game......Jason Taylor?.........a good player.....but not a game changer.........Offensive line of the Cowboys would/could/will handle the D-line of Redskins with ease.........questions are.....will special teams and skin offense keep pace with Dallas.....this game is a tough one........even the o/u depending if Skins want to "shoot " this one out or pull a Jacksonville/Colts game plan

reading the posts on here cracks me up. there always great value betting against the over rated ,over hyped cowboys. ill be betting against dallas as usual. best team in the league, dont make me laugh
If anyone wants to know my credentials feel free to browse through my posts on the OU/TCU game. I called for OU to cover big time and I was called some unflatering names. All I can see is go by what you see....not what you think. I've live in Oklahoma and I'm also a big time Dallas fan. Yeah, I'm a country Oklahomer. and after watching about 90+% of all Dallas games since 1989 I KNOW this Dallas team is one of the greatest Dallas teams that I have ever seen. This team in my opinion is about 70% of the Superbowl teams. Will they choke this year? maybe. but they definately aren't overhyped, just ask Cleveland, Philly, and GB how overated Dallas is. I'm thinking this might be a sucker bet. Everyone thinks they are smart betting on Washington.
I would personally stay away from this one. but if you have to feed our gambling addiction on this game bet on Dallas until the wheels falll off. and I haven't seen any signs of damage on this 2009 Dallas Hummer with bulletproof windows. Dallas could go 8-0 before it's over.
Dallas is going to put a major scare into Wash backers. Get your popcorn and rent money ready.
