This is a lot of points for any matchup not including NE in the NFL and we are talking about the playoffs. These guys find a new gear for the playoffs. No taking downs or series off, everybody dives for balls. Tough to lay double digits in the playoffs. Like the under with the Titan defense and Coach Turner's history.

Hey ALL. New guy Kinda. Have been reading all of you for about 4 months. Interesting site, and comments. Coming to you from Port Saint Lucie Florida.
Had to comment on this one: Roydell Williams has a broken ankle in one statement I read ?? Is this true. Plus no Scarfe, No Olson, And maybe no Center. Whites knee hurts and he missed the last 2 days of practice (Grandma Funeral).

As much as I want Tenn. to win and or at least cover. It seems an impossible task. Def. can hold SD to 21 or 24 and score a TD off of Rivers. But how is Tenn. Offfense going to score any points at ALL...

Titans +10 (2 units) vs. Chargers - San Diego is a really hot team right now but 10 points is a LOT to cover in a playoff game. The Chargers have lost their last 2 home playoff games, last year to the Patriots and in 2005 against the Jets. I think they'll win today to stop the streak but only by about 4-5 points. Vince Young will be playing today after coming out of the last weeks win from a quad injury. Other injuries for the Titans include Chris Brown (back) and Keith Bulluck (knee). Both will see the field today because this is the most important game of their season and the Titans really need Bulluck to help contain Tomlinson. I'm hopefully gonna see another choke performance from Philip Rivers, although I think the Chargers are better equipped to take down the Colts and Patriots. Please Please someone poison Kerry Collins' breakfast this morning, just incase Young cannot play I don't want Collins coming in to fuck this bet up.

VY is overrated, he has played in many national games, and has not had many big time plays, where he carried the team. Just look at last week, the season on the line and he is seen limping around the sidelines. get some pain shots and play like a man.

I am going to have to take the Titans......I killed the book yesterday going 6-0 and have a pile of his money for the week......so I will fade the public little darling.......who hasn't won a playoff game since I was in college mind you!!!! You think Norv Turner isn't as nervous as a person in church this morning!!??!?!?
The reason he was brought in was to win this game and others in the playoffs.........He started out the season with people calling for his job after his crappy start........now those same people will be out saying the same things tomorrow.........after he blows this game in the clutch.........Tenn in a tight, physical, and I expect.......somewhat sloppily played game. Something similar to the last time these two got together and went to OT down in the hills..........Vince Young hasn't had a bad game in Southern California since.......well.....maybe never? He'll be ready, and SD won't play as well as they are capable of with all the pressure on them today.......Tenn will be loose and playing with wreckless abandon!!!

First of all, the Titans had a 14 point lead on the Chargers with 6 minutes left 3 weeks ago and SD got lucky that TN made mistakes just to get the W in OT. TN is a better coached team, and their injuries will not affect them as much as many will think. They have Ben Troupe at TE instead of Scaife, which is actually a better athlete. They have Eric Moulds and Justin Gage at WR which is not great, but they will make timely plays. Lendale White, Chris Brown, and Chris Henry will combine for over 130 rushing yards. Vince Young will be ok people. People seem to forget he is a guy who strives playing in the biggest of games. I will take this gift at +10 and you guys might get upset when I am the one collecting at the ticket window. Coaches are the key to playoffs, and there is only one coach in the playoffs better than Fisher. I am a homer if you can't tell, but I have watched this team play all year and they will be fired up against the trash-talking primadonnas of SD. Shawne Merriman told Keith Bulluck after the game in Nashville to "Have fun watching him in the Playoffs from his couch." Keith Bulluck will likely use this to motivate the already toughest D in the NFL and shutdown SD. SD will probably win, but I feel there is no way they are good enough to win by 10.

Unless the reports that I read are wrong, White is going to be very limited and VY will try to play but it will be a game time decision as to how he feels when he runs around during pre-game.
I just took a look at the 1st meeting between the two teams. A few things stood out.
- White has 30 carries for 113 yd and a 7yd TD run
- Tenn TD drives were 19 yards and 42 yards
- Top 3 receivers for Tenn were Williams (out), White (???) and Scaife (out)
- Gates left the game for a period of time and came back to catch a TD
- Rivers left the game for a period of time and came back to throw a TD
- LT ran for 146 yards on 26 carries.
- There were a total of 3 points scored in the 1st half.
After seeing the other two games, I become a little worried in the game total. I am moving to the 1st half total

- SD game (buying it down to 7), 1st half under parlay

No way Tenn can hang 4 qtrs with this Charger team. LT will eventually break loose and break this game wide open. Once Tenn gets behind, their goose is cooked, Vince Young isn't healthy and Kerry Collins is a washed up joke. Put 7 -8 men in the box to shut down Lendale White and it's game over. That's why it's a 10 ponit spread, because Tenn has no chance. Even Norv can't fuck this up, hell, even Shotenheimer could win this one.
SD-10, 5 units (1-5).

ALL i can say bout this game is, if it took a almost miracle comeback for the Chargers to Win in OT, last time 23-17... how is it a strong bet if they were to lay -10. In a playoff game, where they have never Won ONe before.. I cant lay money on tennessee either this time, cuz they have Key Offensive players out, .. so logically thinking, that would make the Under the best play, especially since there is bad Weather rite now in San Diego... really bad storm affecting us since Friday.. Im lucky Comcast managed to fix the cable this morning, for me to enjoy winning The Giants game.. It would complete my 3 team parlay. . i had Jags OVer 40.5 , Boston Celtics +2, and NY GIants +3.. I might just win this,, lookin good rite now,, 17-17 Giants 3rd. Qrt... well anywayz, those are my insight.. GOOLUCK EVERYONE, Have a profitable

i meant its 17- 7 Giants, 3rd quarter and they just intercepted Garcias pass in the Endzone,,. And if it wasnt for all the damn talk and hype of Tamba Bays awesome defense, and Giants blowin their wad against Patriots, I would of layed more money on this game.. but nonetheless i layed enough money on it, and win the parlay.. cant get greedy..
just hope the Under is good for the Chargers game and its an extremely profitable weekend for

bigD...was hoping something more solid from you.....sh---t you wrote exactly how I feel about this game too!!!.....I cant see TN O accomplishing much of anything....struggling vs Indy in must win....Young is still Young....and hurt.....they might be better off without him and thats whats frightening about 10 pts...Collins been there done that.....might spark Tn but I doubt it....SD will want to make an example of this team who limped into playoffs....I would have rather seen the Browns......I am going to play a 3 pt tease and leave game to itself....SD and over.....it's the cookie cutter play.
