Welcome aboard ANGORWAT. I wish you joined us about 3 weeks ago, I've been very hot for quite awhile, not bragging either it's just a fact. I know how quickly it can change to. I'm taking Mid Tenn. The Chargers are a prideful group , and the Raiders were up by 30 plus pts at one point in the game the last time they played at QCom. The crowd was almost all Raider fans that day in SD.

But now David Carr simply not playing nearly as well as he was 6 weeks ago and RB Lat Murray been running too upright since his ugly concussion. Amari Cooper banged up.

Note that the last few years AFC West divisional road dogs have barked and bit. In fact So far this season in the AFC West Divisional games - the Road team has got the money every game. Rivers, Woodhead, Gates and shutdown corner Jason Verret find a way.

Myth, like them all sir, wishing you good luck as I will be taking both SD teams myself.

Raiders seem to play better on the road and its always tough to beat the same team twice , so with that being  said I'm doing a 10  point 3 team teaser chargers middle tenn and Aztecs and I'll take them straight up for small too so good luck everyone and have a great Christmas eve !

The Chargers played an emotional game last week in what may have been their final game at Qualcomm Stadium and their last in the area. They won 30-14 against a sloppy and demotivated Dolphins team that was banged up and had already cashed in their chips. The script is flipped this week as the Chargers travel on a short week to play a Raiders team that might be playing their final game in the East Bay. Oakland will likely be the team that has the emotional advantage this week while the Chargers could be a bit flat. Adding to the emotion for the Raiders is the fact that this will be the final home contest in Charles Woodson’s career as he announced this week that he’s going to retire after this season. The Raiders should be plenty fired up in this game and are the better team overall.

From a match-up perspective the Chargers do one thing well and that’s pass the ball with Philip Rivers. He’s been a one man show for the Chargers this entire season behind an ineffective offensive line and a banged up group of receivers. With really no running game to speak of – San Diego has averaged just 85 rushing yards at 3.6 ypr against teams that allow 107 yards at 4.2 ypr - it’s been remarkable that Rivers has played as well as he has. The Raiders defense seems to play better than their numbers but from a yards-per-play perspective they are about average overall – allowing 5.5 yppl against teams that gain 5.5 yppl. My feeling is that the Raiders play an emotional game defensively in light of Woodson’s retirement and shut down a Chargers offense that might be a bit flat in this game.

Defensively San Diego has one of the worst defenses in the league and have been unable to stop the run (allowing 4.8 ypr to teams that average 4.3 ypr) or the pass (allowing 7.1 yps to teams that gain 6.3 yps). Matched up against a Raiders team that is better than average, particularly in the passing game, it could be a long day for a tired Chargers defense travelling on a short week.

 Clearly a great spot for the Raiders. I like Oakland minus the points.

Hi guys, well starting to feed a little better about my in game selection of the Broncos m.l. +2.5, then hooked em up with a HUGE U 84.5! Offense wins games Defense wins championships! Also hooked up Cinci +2.5 and that line is getting pounded at my book down to almost a pickem... Also stuck the Chargers +5.5 and that line is getting hit to. Good luck  Myth. Been laying low with Christmas  here and had a bad week a couple of weeks  ago when  Philly beat NE straight up and Green  Bay lost to Detroit . As usual , the games  I did not play  were mostly winners. That's how it goes. San Diego looks good  tonight  as Carr appears  to be  regressing.
