well manning has never covered -9.5 vs the chargers, andf that includes games vs ryan leaf at QB. the colts didnt finish the season very strong and strugled vs oakland, and probally would have lost vs oakland if the raiders didnt put in russel in the 2nd half. whens the last time indy at home won by double digits vs a playoff caliber opponent. so what makes you thnk all of that is gonna change this week?

Your right they are hurting on the defensive side of the ball but i have two words for you BOB SANDERS he is a defense in himself and i agree Indy will cover.  Bolts with either a hurting Gates or a Gates who dosen't play at all, LT can't do it all himself.

Tell me if you guys agree with this - regardless of the outcome tonight in Foxboro, more money goes down on the Colts tomorrow - if the Pats blow out Jax, bettors looks for Colts to follow suit, and if Jax keeps it close or pulls off the shocker, everyone says won't happen to Indy.  It is like a setup to get money on the Colts and keep disrespecting "Cry me a" Rivers.  Agreed this falls into my patterned contrarian shit theories, but Indy still looks too much like the easy money play of the weekend.
 
Interesting prop on Bodog, how many roadies win SU this weekend - 1 is even money, 0 is 10/13, 2 is 14/5, 3 is 18/1, 4 is 30/1.  2 is attractive at almost 3-1, but not the value bet i would suggest anyone bet the rent on.
 
Nothing against Bob Sanders, I was happy as hell he stepped up last year when I rode the Colts, but can they hype this guy any more?

im kinda surprised with all the colt backers.  seems as if the chargers have been hot lately.  when did they lose last?  i think the colts win but not by 10. i'll buy a half a point though just to be sure

let's see, colts are rested, at full strength, at home on carpet, lightning fast on both sides of the ball hall of fame coach and QB vs. nervous norv and whiny baby rivers...colts will stop ladanian and make the dolts one demensional. yeah, give me the colts -10. oh, did i mention BOB SANDERS ? Defensive player of the year ?

Looks like the money is moving towards the Colts on this one...line as moved to -10 in a number of places.  Marvin's back and Gates is out.  I don't expect any rust on Marvin; in fact, I see Peyton getting him involved early and often.  With Marvin, Gonzo, and Reggie all at (or near) full strength, the Colts will roll.  And, don't discount Bob Sanders.  He'll be keying on LT all day and forcing Rivers to make plays.  That spells TURNOVERS for the underrated and often overlooked Colt's D.
 
I like the Colts all the way to -13.5...big money day.

If you're gonna take #s from that site, the actually have a 68.7% chance of winning, 12.5% of a close win, and 44.4% of a big win.

  I have Indy -6 for the 1st half for $1,000 and a teaser Jax +20 with Indy -1.5 for the game for $1,000 = +2,000 for the week?

Good thing I layed off the pats and took them the 2nd half -7.5.
and that was close too....What Luck.
 
 
Last weeks game showed me the chargers defense was good enought to hold tennessee to 2 field goals. I like the way the defense is playing ...they might hold the colts to 4 touch downs.
 
I don't think the colt's defense can stop the run. This game will be close. TThe last five teams the colts face had shitty offenses. Hence the low scoring games. Without freeney ...bob sanders will have to come up to help stop the run which will open things up the passing game. LT will run for at least 120yds

Love love love Indy.  Let's face it, SD was extremely lucky to win at home against Indy this year.  SD has justified the coaching change (in their eyes) and exorcised last years demons by winning last week, but that wasn't very impressive.  I see Indy D loading up on LT and getting him frustrated as he has a few times this year and then the rest of the Bolts folds like a card table.

IMO the Colts have the better field General in this match up and and have the better balance on offense due to the fact that the Chargers will be without Gates in this one.

If the Colts WR's can keep the Chargers corners and safeties busy in this one it should open up the middle for Dallas Clark and Addai.

I do not like the fact that Freeney is not playing in this game but I do believe that if the Colts can find a way to pressure and fluster Philip Rivers the Chargers will be in for a long day.

As hard as Atari Bigby of Green Bay was hitting the Seattle players today Bob Sanders of the Colts will probably do the same with the Chargers offense.


Chargers did not start off well at home last week against the Titans and I cannot see them starting off strong in Indy.

The local hated my wins today so he jacked up my first half line....

Hey BigDaddy, GL to you and to the rest of you as well.  My only play for tomorrow is a contrarian play.  Under 9.5 pts in the 1st quarter.  Counting on the Bolts slow start trend on the road as well as their defensive play.  Hopefully it's enough to limit the Colts to field goal attempts only in the 1st quarter.  I foresee only 3 possessions in the first quarter and I'm hoping they end in field goals attempts at best or better yet punts.

I'm kind of worried of the Chargers speed on defense but I'm just banking on Peyton and his ability to read the defense.
