217 rush & 264 passing yards last week against Oakland AND their injuries..Cmon the Jets will continue the abuse here.

Oakland is going to derail the Jets. Sanchez is hurting still. Oakland will want to make a statement here.. Raiders all the way!

    With Mangold (center) out, and Sanchez dinged up, it appears that the Raiders might have a chance. Let's examine this situation.  Oakland can't stop anybody from scoring on them, and the Jets ;possess one of the better defenses in the league. One team is a perennial playoff contender. The other has been an a doormat that hires a new HC every 3 years. The Jets are very focused on winning this game, as they need to keep pace with the Patriots. Being asked to lay out just 3.5 points, is very generous here.

also lean toward the points here as the mangold factor may be huge.

lack of good secondary coverage will hurt the raiders but their front 7 should give sanchise fits

usually i take the points in games like this but the jets d is too much to ignore.  pretty large play on the jets for me.  got -3 @ -125 and expect to cash.  glta

The Jets should beat the Raiders by at least 10... I like the Jets to Cover here

OAK +3 (1u) - The Raiders are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog.  Without Nick Mangold, traveling cross-country, i see Jets looking ahead to Ravens and Patriots, and with Sanchez shoulder banged up, the Black Hole seems to have the edge here.  Jets 17-Raiders 21

First, had the Raiders been able to finish in Buffalo last week, this game would be 3.5 the other way...........

Second, just like the Lions, I just can't commit to the Raiders as a real contender just yet - but........

this game should be low scoring and ugly, and maybe set a new penalties record. If it comes down to a field goal, I'm covered either way..........

Raiders best receiver is a rookie that Revis will blanket the whole game. Raiders need to run to win this game and I don't think they can on the Jet "D" line. Also, Jason Campbell a stiff in my book so I will never bet Oakland against a good defense. Jets win and cover in a low scoring game.

Oakland played one hell of a game, they ran on the Jet "D" which I didn't think was possible.  I lost this bet but did have the Colts large last night so got out for the day.
