I am twenty minutes from the stadium and the weather is miserable.  It is a white out.  It doesn't look like it is going to get any better.  Huge wind gusts and blinding snow, I'm taking the Jets and the under.  I like the Jets because unlike the Pats, they have run the ball this year.  This game will be a punt fest.  First one to 17 wins.
 
Saberjake, bad weather stops teams all the time.  That example you used about the Bills and Raiders doesn't work.  It wasn't snowing out that day, it was just really cold and the Raiders lost Bo Jackson the week before with the infamous hip pointer against the Bengals.  The Raiders turned the ball over in their own territory and set Buffalo up in great field position all day.  A couple of years ago the Pats played the Dolphins in snow and the final was 12-0.  The Chargers at Cleveland 3 years ago, 21-0.  That was the year San Diego's offense was blowing up.  Playoff game between the Pats and Colts in the AFC Divisional Championship a few years back.  Indy had one of the best offense's in league history, lost 20-3.  That was the year Manning broke the TD record, and he threw zero in the snow.  You have had some valid points in the past Saber, but this isn't one of them.

Undercovers is right... I just got up and it is a freaking blizzard out there!  My dog twice refused to go out and pee -- heavy snow and swirling winds.  I don't know how you can lay 21 points in this weather.

Sorry pic did not take on earlier post. I spoke to my friend that lives two miles from Gillette and he confirmed that it is bad

More detail - I've got almost a foot here in Boston, but I see on TV the suburbs have more like 5-6 inches -- I expect Foxboro to be about there now.  Gonna be fun for anyone getting to the stadium and parking in this.

Yea... they just showed shots of the weather conditions on Sunday NFL Countdown. I think we'll see a lopsided running game for both teams. But as long as the ground is solid we're not going to see a game similar to the Pitts/Mia. The clock won't stop with the running game but Brady will be no huddling.
 
No long/mid field goals... all TD's.

Don't forget the Pats can still throw short in these conditions.  Welker is all over the place with quickness.  Slippery conditions always favor the offense.
