Pats plus points, SD too banged up, Cassel getting some confidence, Pats d still Pats D, and whoever menioned back to back west coast trips above - toss that comment out people. They stayed out there all week. Which in itself is a bit of a gamble by Belicheat but there is no travle element involved today. GLTA.
If we're going by that, do you remember what happened when AZ tried that strategy on the east coast?

Is Vincent Jackson also out? I know Chambers is out, Rivers, Gates and LT is hurt, which is making me lean towards the under. NE is 8th in passing defense and 16th in rushing. SD is 32nd in passing defense and 22nd in rushing. Hmmmm ..... still leaning towards the under.

On my book, the line has dropped a full 2 points from 4.5 to 6.5. That's a much nicer number, and my guess it may have something to do with the Pats activating a RB from their practice squad. Either LaMont Jordan won't play, or Maroney is 50-50, or both. Still, the SD pass defense is ranked 32nd in the league. Cassell should be able to do enough to keep it close, especially since LT has not been his old dominant self.
Pats +6.5
Good luck all...

SD lost to MIA, Denver, and Carolina...And they almost lost to Oakland...The only convincing win they had was against NYJ, and in my opinion that was because of the bad play call the week prior...Plus Norv is absolutely terrible as a head coach...
SD might win, but not more then 7...This one is going to be close
Bellicheck Outcoaches Norv tonight and gets the cover in SD
NE +7
Over 44

We all know that San Diego can put up points. It's all gonna come down to how well their D plays. They have they homefield advantage, but the D has been bending a lot lately and I'm not sure they're gonna cover the 6.
