Does anybody here make a living on sports gambling......I am curious to see how you can do all seasons......Be honest.....

I am only plus (63%) on baseball year after year... Even on college fb
Loss on pro fb..... and up and down (loss) on nba....I would love to figure out how the best do it year after year...
I do not know enough about college bb anymore to bet........

I want to learn the discipline!!!!

I am considered a professional sports better. I have a typical job also but i live off my sports betting. The trick to the game is to only pick a few games a week. Most of my income comes from pro football so i play the NFL large and other sports a little smaller. THE ONE KEY THOUGH IS TO PICK A FEW GAMES A WEEK!

Thread is like a debate, state your case on why you like a team and be done with it, dont come around and bash people, your usually showing your ignorance and surely not making any friends.Bashing an oldtimer, and especially one/s that are highly respected by others, is not a good thing. This is a place where FRIENDS win and lose on their bets. You can bet that even when the majority bet a team and lose are always the firsts to give congrads to winners. So keep your bashing to Jerry Springer Show and off here, because really, no-one wants to see it. Been coming here for years and rarely ever say anything, read what people have to say on games and make my own decisions. Right or Wrong in the end is still me calling Da Man and giving him my bet. Do take stock in the words of BigD, Scorp (aka Old A$$ Coach lol), Lefty, Fish Man, and CockK, and surely some others.They are always respectful of others and have fun here. ENOUGH SAID PERIOD... Now back to the game at hand, Both teams scare me and not sure what 2 teams will show up lol, trends say Denver, but you just never ever know. Think Denver is going to make the push for the playoff bid, and Mike knows he has to do something now while he has some health back on field. Taking Denver and the Over.

1st time poster (obviously by the post count...LOL)

I have my own little system for picking games, as I am sure all of you do. My system says Houston & the Over. I really like the over, but am not sold on Sage (really liked Denver before doing my research).

1 unit on the over 47

undecided on a side yet.

And I was also saying how the favorite (public) has been all over Denver all week.
Denver looks almost 2 easy....
I crunched my #'s and have Houston winning a close one.

My play will be HOUSTON +3 (I'm waiting until right before kickoff)
And the OVER (I'm hoping it will be around 47.

Broncos vs. Texans +2.5 (2 units) - well yet another game on the NFL Network that practically no one can watch... including me. Sage Rosefels has filled in very nicely in Matt Schaub's absence, he is 2-0 as a starter so far against Oakland (Wk 9) and Tampa (Wk 14). His TD/INT ratio is a little weak though and it kinda scares me against Denver's good pass defense. Obviously the best matchup on the field to watch will be Champ Bailey vs Andre Johnson. Johnson is virtually the only explosive player on the Texans offense and will be able to catch a deep ball at least once tonight. Bailey will be able to shutdown the short quick passes and will have the usual help up top from Lynch, but we've all seen them get burned time after time deep. Ron Dayne looks to be out tonight as well for the Texans, which means Darius Walker will start for them at RB and I can assure you he'll be better than Dayne. That injury actually improves the team because Walker can catch out of the backfield unlike stone hands Dayne. The Texans defense will also need to play stellar tonight if they want to win. Brandon Marshall and Selvin Young are great young players that have proved themselves numerous times this season. It will be Jay Cutler and his inconsistent play that determines how the Broncos offense moves (or doesn't move) up and down the field tonight.

That's what they call gamble.

Of course, we 're not 100% sure which team will win.

Just a guess.

Nobody know it will happen on the football field until FINAL.

Before I always go the against with the public.

And I end up lost.

Now I realize the way to bet on the sports is how to "CAP" the game, and then I have more percent will than I use to do"Against The Public" not the way to bet on sports.

If you have direct TV with ESPN it will be on channel 212

This is not a NFL package .Turn on channel 212 with direct TV you will be able to watch th game.

Check out the Gold Sheet.com for NFL information and for college football, check out Terry Donahue's college picks on the NFL channel (I know it sounds weird but that motherfucker really knows his shit, he pointed out that Oregon State was the #1 team in college at fast starts, meaning 1st halves and 1st quarters. I be damned if he wasn't right. Look back over the year at their first quarters and first halves minus the USC game, and you will see what I mean-I made a ton of money blindly betting with them early in games this year; don't forget about that when they go bowling), and check out the information on Winningedge.com, a site a confidant exposed to me. The numbers don't lie

As far as the NBA goes, you have to burn the midnight oil. i don't know any one who is good at basketball handicapping that does not stay up any less than midnight PST. You have to get into the synergy and the ebb and flow of the game, if you take all of the teams that lost yesterday tomorrow, the chances are that you'll do wonderfully.

Texans +2.5

The line shift is weird...just plain weird. Denver is 5-14 ATS when laying the points and just 9-20 ATS since 2006. They are also 1-5 ATS away from home this year and have lost at Indy by 18 and at Detroit by 37. Meanwhile, Houston's last two games have brought victory at the hands of New Orleans and the Bucs. They won those two by 13 and 14 respectively. Denver is giving up almost 30ppg on the road this season. In my humble opinion, that translates into a loss. Houston is playing well and gets the victory tonight.

I can understand what you are talking about bigdaddyhpd. When you're a home run hitter people boo you when you strike out. I've been catching hell since i burned up the threads with my famous playoff run last year in the NBA.

And even though i am killing the bookies more than Steve Merrill, Bryan Leonard, Stephen Nover, and company in NBA games, I take tremendous heat on the ones that I lose only. My players had a bad night last night like I did when my teams underperformed, and you would have thought that i was O.J. SImpson or somethin'.
