Hope you're right byabeach...I'm just like Tex-101, I go through my local and I have to play the whole game, so I'm thinking Cincy seems like the safest way to go.  Cincy's D is playing very respectable as of late,,,,and if you compare (if possible) the niners to the Rams, and Cincy beat the Rams by 9, so I'm somewhat confident that the Bengals can beat the hapless niners by 8 points.  Just my take.....GL all

THIS GAME IS VERY SIMILAR TO MONDAY NIGHTS SAINTS AND FALCONS GAME. SAINTS WERE THE TOAST OF LAST YEAR AS WERE THE BENGALS AND BOTH TEAMS HAVE BEEN UP AND DOWN ALL YEAR. ON THE OTHERHAND ATLANTA AND 49'S BOTH WITH 3RD STRING QB'S ARE THE TWO WORST TEAMS IN THE NFL..THEY CANNOT SCORE...PERIOD!!!! RIGHT OR WRONG YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE BENGALS  TONIGHT!!!! THEY ARE A FAR CRY FROM LAST YEARS TEAM BUT AT LEAST THEY CAN PUT UP SOME POINTS. ANYONE TAKING THE 49'S IS REALLY HOPING FOR A MIRACLE..JUST NOT WORTH IT...BENGALS 23-9

Bengals vs. 49ers over 42.5 (3 units) - thank God there is a Saturday football game again, I'd much rather college but the NFL is good enough.  These teams are moving in opposite directions right now, the 49ers are comparable to the Knicks as far as skill level (not front office).  I believe Shaun Hill (who?) will start tonight for the Niners with Chris Weinke as his backup (what?!).  Frank Gore should be able to provide the offense tonight, I forsee him getting about 100 yards rushing and 2 TDs.  Vernon Davis is probably thinking "throw me the damn ball" and hopefully Hill realizes that tonight as a nice safety valve.  The Bengals offense will be high flying here against an average secondary.  Palmer and Co. have put up nice number lately, and Running Rudi is playing well again too.  I'll look for another Niners TD by way of a Palmer INT tonight, and if not that then they'll score something on special teams.  I'm guessing it'll be about 31-20 Bengals at games end.

The line keeps moving.  I agree that this game is similar to Saints/Falcons, but the Falcons gave up.  I don't think the 49ers will just mail it in like that.  I still like Cincy and think they'll cover 8.5, but I think it's going to be a ball squeezer.

Not trying to overthink this macth up but I'm just trying to figure out how a team like the Bengals with so much offensive fire power have such a terrible season. The Bengals defense has been looking good as of late by not allowing more than 280 yds in 5 straight games even with the injuries on defense.
 
The 49ers have a terrible passing game avg 5.2 yds or less per pass attempt. The Bengals are 15-4 ats versus terrible passing teams.
 
The return of Rudi Johnson should help Carson open up the passing game once again esp against this 49er defense who is below average against passing teams.
 
Home dogs are 2-9 ats on Saturdays in the last 4 years
 
Taking my chances here by investing on the Bengals but.....

I feel the same way though and leaning towards taking Cincy in the first half.

I love the Broncos but they have only covered I think twice this year? Take some advice from a loyale broncos fan..stay away they are definietly the donkeys in 07.

cincy should outlast sf, if a shitty off. can score on a shitty def. i like the over.  but sf has let me down soooooo many times in over and unders.  This might be the time they score at least 20 pts. just saying that seems unreal.  Take cincy.

With nothing to play for, these coaches probably will want to throw everything out there.. ... But can they execute? They havent all season. And with a Cincy Team D playin well last two games. N a Niners team not being prepared for this game...
And lastly, if you think the Bengals are goin to come ova to the west coast and light it up? think otherwise, they be traveling thru different timezones., They are a passing team, they rely on time passes.. N their timing will be off, becuz of the flight.. just facts to know.. UNDER 42.. i got money on that?

Don't ever use the L word on this thread............that's like saying "this kid hasn't missed a kick inside of 35 yards all year."  You know dam well he's gonna miss it after that is said!!!!!  Now, excuse me as I go put my black cat outside and throw away my salt shaker and water my 4 leaf clover patch that I have been cultivating for the last year........

This "Shaun Hill" character came out w/ 22/28 completions and 1 TD 1 pick last half against minn. i hate new QB's (though he's been on the bench for 6 YEARS!!) cause they have something to prove and will play to the last second for potential backdoor covers (i HATE SPURS MIKE FINLEY!).

Still taking Cincy though. Good luck my friends

its hard for me to tell if you are playing the first or second half sometimes or when you list a half play before the game starts are you always playing the first half.  just wondering. i never play fist half maybe i need to what i am doing is not paying off to good
