Springs picks off a pass and returns it 53 yards...Collins hits Yoder on a 21-yard TD pass....7-0 Skins so our first half play is ...the over is a long shot obviously..I even teased it down to 34 and that is problematic!
 
Not to get anyone's hopes up, but don't underestimate Collins..he has been in the league for 15 years or so and is a savvy veteran who can at least read defenses and finish out the game servicably...he came out the same year as Rick Mirer and Mirer was the 2nd pick of the draft and Collins was like a 6th rounder or so...I remember at the time telling other scouts I actually liked Collins better...he is a former starter and had a nice first half in relief...
 
Skins plus half-a-point at the half and I am staying on them...laid a few bucks "chasing" my likely "over" loser on the Skins in the 2nd half...

Its early..but if you're Chicago and you score...do u go for two knowing ur offense if pathetic.

hopefully these two offenses get into a groove...teased the over down to 32 on this one.

must have got it early...i got it late @40 so i teased down to 34  w/ the bears up to 9....got the bears outright too +3...need another 10-7 quarter for the bears and its $$$$

That may have doomed us Bears backers.  I hope not.  I need a field goal, which is highly unlikely or a TD.  Come on Bears need a defensive stop.

Collins final numbers...15 for 20 for 224 yards...-2 TD's - 0 ints

Not that anyone cares, but I got my former Michigan QB's mixed up in an earlier post...
 
It was Elvis Grbac who was an 8th round pick in 1993 when Mirer was the 2nd overall pick...Todd Collins was a second-round pick in 1995...not easy being an aging former scout with too many players names and draft dates floating around in my conscious!! LOL!

Just got home, looked at the score and looks like we got a winner  i didnt get to see the 2nd half but it looked like it turned out to be a decent game after all...need to watch sportscenter to see what happened....
