with that said, is it not fishy that, say, at pinny BAL is -1 (-101), while HOU is +1 (-107)

BAL just seems to be getting all the action (70+ % everywhere I look).... so something IS going on here...

Ontario players have HOU +3 which seems like it could be worth a look.

Like the over. Houston averages 24 ppg. But if you just use their home games its 29 ppg. Baltimore averages over 3 TDs a game, so I think J-Nice is right when he says the public perception is 2 defensive teams. GL to all

Loving the OVER here for a couple reasons.

    1.  The Ravens offense has FINALLY shown the ability to stretch the field and put up some points.  Granted the past three games have been against some crappy defenses, but without Diles and with Okoye beat up, the Texans defense is not very solid in the middle which = a huge game for Ray Rice again.

    2.  Sage Rosenfels might turn the ball over more often than Schaub, but that's because he takes more chances.  He is much more willing to throw the ball downfield to Andre Johnson/Kevin Walter/Owen Daniels and try to get into a shootout.

    OVER  42.5

    Prediction:   Ravens  28   Texans  23

Balt is too much to handle.  Balt will have their way with Rosenfels.  While it may be a trap at -1, I'm going for the bait!

I'm w/ u motown.  I like Balt even though this line is weird.  Flaco has been pretty consistent and makes good decisions.  Houston is decent at home but Sage will be good for a couple TO's.

The perception of everyone in hear making it sound like Sage is such a drop off from Matt Schuab makes me think your all nuts. And i think Sage now knows how to manage a game(colts comeback)...Houston is the play here basically because they are home and Baltimore's d is shaken up making Andre Johnson have a big day...

    FYI

I am currently near Reliant Stadium. 2 hours from kickoff and the weather will NOT be a factor. IT will probably be in high 70's and virtually no wind outside which means no wind in the stadium unless you count all the gas from the people eating 8 dollar nachos.

Home Dog when I bet it. Bet it striaght (Houston +1) and also teased it to Houston +7/Green Bay + 8.

Home dogs tend to hit somewhere around 60%(although I'm not sure on where the split is(+1, +3, etc). Yes, Baltimore has a great D again, but for some reason, I'm still not sold.

Sage is 4-1 as a starter
Ravens have Giants on deck so they could look past the 3-5 Texans thinking an ez W.
Ravens have won 3 in a row and a big comeback win last week against a division rival could have them falt for this one.
Line is fishy, Ravens a dog. NO way

I'm feeling you on this one although those "turnovers" you speak of might prove costly, I like it anyway.
