whats funny is on this site the line is -9 and the vegas line is mostly 7.5 i guess people will take NE for a free contest but won't bet thier money. i just think vegas is trying to suck you in with the TD spread and the weather factor.

I won't be scared off by this chalk. The Cards have clinched and really only ought to concern themselves with staying healthy. Meanwhile, the Pats are doing whatever they can to sneak their way into a playoff berth. Plus, they've got Randy Moss (among other play-makers).

I like the Pats in this one for numerous reasons. The Cardinals playing on the east coast at 1:00 is one reason. The weather dosen't favor Warner today at all. The Cardinals playoff seeding is secure while the Pats must win this game to even have a chance. The comments that Warner made last week that their loss to the Vikes was due in large part to a break down at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball wont help any. The Pats are much better at running the ball and at short passes which will be key with the weather. If Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk play well as I expect them to the Pats will be in good shape. Belichick will have something special for Warner today, combine that with the weather hampering his passing game plus Anquan Boldin missed practice for the 3rd straight day on friday and most likely will not play today and the fact that Warner is fumble prone. I smell a blowout in this one!

Ariz may not score. They have to come to NE with a conservative game plan, keep Warner from getting hurt, WR's from getting hurt, etc.... and NE must win, period.
Don't overthink, weather equals under and game situation equals NE.
(Sorry Pats Girl) - But not a big fan of NE, however, they are still the Pats and the AFC butt-kickers are starting to play like the Pats of 2007-08 - LAY THE WOOD.

i can easily see the pats roll into the playoffs on a nice streak. the elements will clearly not favor warner and co, but talented enough to contribute to the over.
i'm off the over now with the weather being a huge factor.

Arizona has nothing to play for. Boldin is not playing and Hightower is doubtful. They cannot improve their playoff picture at all and they are going to rest some starters. I do not like the 9 with the weather but I am placing Pats down to -2 in a 2 team teaser with the Lions at +14

4-6 inches of snow expected today, with rain coming afterward. It will be white in the first half, maybe mush for the 2nd. You would think this would let it go under and it probably will -- but not a given.

no boldin/arrington - weather favors the pats big time obviously. off the total now, but am thinking about going extra large on the pats here. arizona has just 2 wins in there last 21 trips to the eastern time zone. pats should be more pressed for a big performance still fighting for the divison - while the cards have already locked up their division for the first time in 30 years. plus my favorite *body clock* angle applies.

Agent, only a two hour difference at this time of year FYI. My son lives in AZ. But I agree on the body clock thing its been working all year against the west coasters.

I Live in MA. and it's snowing real bad right now.. by game time it will be up to 8 inches of snow.... SO the weather will be a big factor for ARZ passing game... and they can't run the ball on any body now a day.. on the other hand NE play pretty well in snow weather, they have S. Morris, K. Faulk run the ball for them.. I think thisgame going to be a low scoring game due to the weather.
Under is the play.....

AZ has nothing to play for, Boldin is out, it is snowing like an MF and the Pats need this win to further their cause...I would take the Pats and give the points but the under seems a much better play here...Good Luck.
